Seeing three very strong and masculine men, Noxeema Jackson (Wesley Snipes), Vida Boheme (Patrick Swayze), and Chi-Chi Rodriguez (John Leguizamo), dressed in drag and pulling off performances as drag queens was particularly wonderful. Patrick said he did it to honor his mother, and I think you can see honoring of female relatives in all three performances. Seeing Wesley Snipes do something other than an action movie is a real treat. |
