Please don't even try. Just don't. It is painfully obvious.

Honey, you've cast too wide a net out there. Better pull back and get out of the light for a while.

I am reminded of the episode of "I Love Lucy" where Lucy and Ethel decide to make some money by making up a charity and holding a raffle to benefit it. After they've done the work and collected the money, Ricky and Fred find out, tell them they've committed fraud, and they're in deep trouble with the law. (I think the cops were there.). They are saved at the eleventh hour when a representative of the organization, which turns out to have existed after all, swoops in and takes the check.

Whatever you decide to do, have bread with the spaghetti. Good luck.

my chapter does an all you can eat spaghetti dinner with a silent auction every year and it does really well. we usually do 10 bucks for a ticket, all you can eat. it's a philanthropy event so we can usually get most of the food donated too.

Also, upon actually going through this thread, the organization you're trying to join sounds REALLY shady. You should probably do some googling. If you can find an international website for the group, email someone at their head office. I already suspect this is not an NPC group. My advice, find a NPC sorority (or a not so shady local), and focus on pledging with them.
