i just saw this one the other day:
I's for Crest Whitestrips, and it's some woman's dream. She's doing Riverdance with a bunch of William Shatners and they're all wearing white. Then it's her in bed w/ her husband....I don't get the William Shatner part but it's histerically funny, esp. if it's late at night lol.

I love the ebay commercials w/ the short, stout man running around town and singing/dancing w/ random people. I saw him on Broadway...he was Timon in The Lion King lol :)

OK i haven't checked to see if someone has said this one but i really think that code red mountain dew commercial where the basketball team mascot goes for a dunk and a guy from the stands comes from nowhere and rejects him is an awesome one. There's no way the first time you see it you are expecting it.

Speaking of web commercials, I saw a foreign commercial where this guy is in the supermarket with a little boy and the kid starts going nuts. He's screaming, throwning packages on the floor, and then he lays down in the middle of the aisle. Everyone is staring and the guy feels like an idiot. Then, the slogan and logo of a condom company come up. Very funny! :)

I like the Sprint PCS commercial where the Dad is explaining to the Sprint guy that his 2 daughters have been sharing a phone. Then the phone rings and the 2 girls start beating the crap outta each other to get it! Looks very convincing! LOL:D

frontier airlines has some cute ones. they involve talking critters on plane tails. my favorite involves a rabbit talking to a fox. he asks the fox to dinner. the fox says she'd like to have the rabbit for dinner. the rabbit says "check please." you can see them on the company's web site.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that commercial for Sour Skittles where its a Chinese family and they are trying to make this guy look at the baby. He popps a skittle in his mouth and makes a face. The baby gets scared and starts crying and the family starts hitting and screaming at the guy. LOL, that is SO what my family would do!!

It always makes me crack up!!

This is totally reviving an old thread, but I noticed it when moving stuff...most of my LJ is friends-only, but I left one random post open where I was talking about how much I love the yogurt commercial that goes "You're my little fluffy one, my fluffy wuffy one that makes my mouth go yuuuum..." and between emails and comments, over 20 people found my journal that way!!!

I love the new commercials for the Citibank Fraud protection. They have this big guy with a beer who has a voice-over that is valley girl. She talks about how she bought this leather bustier but doesn't care because she didn't pay for it. "1500?! It lifts and seperates! Plus, it wasn't like I bought it. Tee-hee!" The commercial is hilarious!

I really like that new Nike football commercial with Mike Vick and Terrel Owens. its cool.

New Yorkers will relate to this...

One of my current faves is an ad for (I think) Mercedes. A woman is driving her husband to the airport. She asks him what time his flight leaves. When he tells her, she gets this "oh sh*t" look on her face and starts driving like a maniac because he's going to miss his flight. She pulls up at the terminal, he gets out of the car, and a skycap comes up to him and says "Welcome to JFK." At which point he jumps back in the car and yells "LaGuardia! LaGuardia!!"

I can suspend disbelief to the point where I can picture the Belt and Van Wyck with minimal traffic, but to believe that a skycap at a New York airport would say "welcome" ... nope. ;)

Those Bud commercials are sooo damn funny. I liked them when they were radio commercials also. This sounds strange, but have you seen the sci-fi channel commercials? Those are always so weird... Has anyone seen the new one for the Battlestar show or something like that? That is cool...

Hey I am old enough that I saw it when it came out -- the original one! I was 8 back in 1978 and remember that show. Is there going to be a new one?

I don't watch much TV. Are they remaking it?
