Oh, I hope it's not being disrespectful. Although I could only type it. I'd have to have someone help me with the pronunciation.

I think women wearing tallits and kippahs is still a pretty liberal thing, and more right-leaning congregations don't accept it.

:D zei is pronounced "zay," gezundt like the beginning of "gesundheit" when someone sneezes. The vowel is like the U in "push." Make sure it's a real "T" sound at the end, like "can't." My guess is that any Jewish person would get a kick out of it if you use it at the right moment!

Zei gezundt literally means "go in good health," but it really means...

This was more what I was referring to (because you never have time on your wedding day to say "oh hey, new husband, how's it going?") Seems like a good chance to just SIT and be by yourselves for a little but before the party gets going.

Not so much actually um, doing it.

Awkward moment.

Can you imagine actually doing it and then having to get your wedding dress, hair, makeup etc. ready for the reception?

Also, that whole thing about everyone knowing that's what you're doing.

I never heard of it either. I like the idea. Mine was set in lucite and looks like it is floating. Unfortunately, no idea where it is right now as I put it away after the ex walked out the door and I did not want to look at it. It is packed somewhere so the kids can have it someday if they want it.
