A lower than ideal college GPA doesn't make someone dumb. Life truly does happen. Whether or not the sororities in question care about blondebabe8's life happening is a different issue.

Blondebabe8 is dumb because she's a dumbass.

well actually the sorority wants me. the problem is if the actual greek life office will let me rush

Look, you don't know any of us, either. And you've managed to insult us by calling us dumb, and insulted our intelligence by lying about the reason that your GPA is so low.

I'll be (somewhat) nice here and give you the best advice I can... study! And don't make up any more lame ass excuses. That's the only way that you have a chance of joining a sorority. Grade risks are one thing, but I guarantee a sorority isn't going to go out of their way to get you a bid if you're almost .5 below their minimum GPA.

If you knew in your heart that you were right, why did you come around looking for advice? If you know anything about GC, you know that we don't take kindly to whiny bitches who are looking for validation.

i dont know. i just think all day every day about how bad i want to be in a sorority. how perfect it would be for me. how much it would improve my life. i have no friends in my college. do you know how that feels? to have no one to talk to...its not easy making friends but joining a sorority would. i see girls that automatically become close with girls because of all the time they have to spend together and because they are part of something together. i just want to belong and feel accepted.
