I think that knowing any sport makes a big difference. If you don't know football you're just watching guys in tight pants beat on each other. If you don't know soccer you're just watching people run around chasing a ball. If you don't know basketball you don't get why they shoot or run or dribble at particular times.

I've watched some curling but it's more like an archery competition for me. I can tell that team/individual is good, but i don't know why or how hard it was.

I haven't played too many sports, but curling is one of those sports that once you're forced to actually use the strategy involved, it becomes a lot more clear. I understood and knew the game before, but actually using it made it that much more understandable.

Switzerland upsets Spain??!? Did not see that one coming!

Me neither. South Africa V. Uruguay starting soon!

I'm still ticked that Slovenia is at the top of our group! Who'd ever guess that??

Yahoo! is calling this a "Dirty Tackle".

Although, what's up with the dress on the brunette in the center, I have NO idea!

I don't know. I kind of enjoyed watching curling during the Winter Games. I thought it is funny as hell to watch.

We need an Illuminati Curling Team.

I didn't watch the World Cup. I like Denmark, but not as much as I love my Norge.

Drolefille 06-17-2010 03:52 PM

GOOOOOOOAL! I wish I were watching Univision for that one.

Mexico 1-0 France
