When I walk down the street and wonder if the crazy guy who just walked past me is actually Tom Earp.

My chapter sisters were always in awe about my Greek knowledge (which is still nothing compared to most other GCers!) thanks to GC.

I usually just say, "My friend did/said blah blah blah" and don't explain that it was from GC. ;)

LOL! I've done that too! HAHAHA

When I picked out my new phone, the first thing I did was test GC.

LOL!

I did that too! It's bookmarked on it, right under FB.

Every time I see letters, I make a mental note to post in that thread. And when someone posted they saw my letters, I got excited. :o

ETA: And I tried to figure out if it's someone I might know....

I agree with most of these. And I always hope I run into a GCer when i see letters or wear letters.

AlphaFrog 06-08-2010 10:52 AM

Oh - thought of another one...I fairly regularly refer to MC as 'this really smart guy I know' - since he's given me enough useful wisdom to use on a regular basis.

Whenever I see a Delta Chi, I wonder if it’s Gusteau.

When I see the real Dr. Phil, I think of DrPhil.

When I see pink font, I think of KSUviolet06.

When I watch ‘Friends’ now, after learning of sorority symbols on GC, I always think of how much Monica must love Alpha Chi Omega and Kappa Kappa Gamma (in her bedroom, she has a screen with a lyre on it and a fleur de lis on her wall).

I make arguments for and against certain types of recruitment in real life based on everything I’ve learned on this site.

This is where I first hear about every celebrity death.

This thread exploded in less than 24 hours.

^ Is that just an observation? Or another sign that we're all spending too much time on GC? ...

Psi U MC Vito 06-08-2010 12:03 PM

First thing I do when I come home is check for new trainwrecks.

DiamondAthena 06-08-2010 12:26 PM

when I tell my non greek husband abt certain threads (ie: you've got to be kidding me) and he says "post my comment!"

Aww, that's why you're our GC Swwetheart! Conversely, I get excited to meet Behrend Delta Chis because of you. When I tell people that I've heard good things about our Behrend Chapter they're always like, "From who?"

ASTalumna06 06-08-2010 01:19 PM

^ Just say you heard it from THE Delta Chi sweetheart. Haha

KSUViolet06 06-08-2010 06:11 PM

Today, I was in-between clients at work and randomly started wondering which school would be talked about the most during this year's recruitment "season" here on GC.

Every year, there are like one or two schools we get the MOST threads about (example: We got alot of FSU and Texas this past year I think).

I was seriously contemplating this, at work. lol.
