apparently bea arthur was not included as well, i'm not certain she was an academy member, but who cares? she's bea arthur!

Oh heck yea! She was a trainwreck!! I clenched up with tension every time they cut to her because she was exuding so much stress. I am almost wondering if she was kind of drugged up because the camera never came in close to her and her interviewees like it did with Sherry.

And that arm!! What in the world? She was such a contrast to the relaxed and chatty style of Sherry Shepard that I started to feel sorry for her. The more she tried to sound impromptu and conversational, the more that arm started to swing and her voice inflection became more forced.

I didn't even notice the tall girl slump mentioned in the previous post because I was so mesmerized by her Stepford Wife on Crack performance.

I about spit out my water when she thanked Morgan Freeman for his philanthropy and I was completely puzzled by her "arm-pose". Even more, her hair looked like mine does when I leave the gym and it's falling out of my ponytail.

Her interviewing deserved a Razzie. Evidently most people thought she was either drunk or on something.

What is a Razzie?

Pre-Oscar award show for worst movies/actors/etc.

The academy claimed they didn't include Farrah or Bea (but mainly Farrah) because they could only include 30 or 40 (can't remember the number) in the tribute...and Farrah is more "TV" than movies. Yeah cause The Wiz really makes Michael Jackson more 'movie' :rolleyes:

Farrah did movies, but I guess that doesn't matter nor the fact that she was a member of the Academy for over 40 years.

I don't think this is an instance where there should be a limit to the number of people included. It's a memorial for crying out loud. Give people their due.
