Candace! That's her name! (Thanks.) I still don't remember her at all. |

I like Tom, and while I liked the way that he (and Colby) came to Stephanie's defense, I'm not sure I think it was good gameplay. But James is losing it. |
I think James has paddled further up the metaphorical "Apocalypse Now" river than the rest of the tribe members.

I agree about Rupert- I think he is maybe getting too big for his britches. Or tie dye. He always had a bit of a whiny edge to him but he was so darn nice most of the time it made up for it. Now I'm just hearing the whiny bossy side of him.
Oh- did anyone else find the Villains hysterical with their "I can be a better provider than you!" competition? Yes, providing for the tribe is a good thing... but don't be too obvious about it or you could get voted off. Nobody likes a show off, not even the Villains. Are Danielle's ruffled bottoms driving anyone else nuts? It just seems so inappropriate for being stranded on a deserted island and competing in fierce challenges. I know the producers "helped" them pick out what to wear, but still. I guess they provide comic relief, though, and if I remember nothing else about her I'll remember those darn ruffles. |

I also agree that Cirie is playing a smart game. I would love to see her form an alliance with Rob, IF they both make it to the merge (fingers crossed:D) thetygerlily, I agree about Rubert, but it seems like all of them (or at least the ones we've been shown) seem to have a huge ego - perhaps being named as the all time best or worst is making them believe that it's true, and not just that they were the first ones available... |
How much longer do we have to wait to see Russell's expression when he finds out he is NOT the king. He keep saying that Boston Rob thinks he is in control but in reality he (Russell) is, yet Russell like the rest of the Villians don't do anything.

He did go out and spear a chicken... He's like a bad little kid - look at me, look at me! and everyone ignores him so he plots how to get attention.
I can't wait for him to get the boot, But unless they are just editing it to not show his true behavior, it seems like he's kind of trying to stay under the radar - all his bloviating has been in confessionals and not to the other players. |

And when is Russell going to start looking for hidden immunity idols?! |

Yep, I definitely agree that most of their egos have inflated substantially. But Rupert seems to be excessively annoying about it on the heroes side. Can their egos really be that big when both sides have relative unknowns on their tribes, Danielle & Candace? It's one thing when you're surrounded by the top ten people you think of, it's another when you look around and ask "wait, who were you again?" I'm sure the Survivors know of each other better than we do because they study them & interact after the game, but still. |

DaffyKD - I don't think we'll see Russell's expression that he wasn't king of last season until this season's final tribal council. I seem to remember the timeline being such that he went straight from last season's filming to this season's, so I don't think he knows he didn't win yet. |

Unless Jeff Probst said that they weren't any HIIs and they edited that part out? |
Quote:
Right? :p So they don't know what Russell has done in the past. |
There has been no indication that any HII exist. There are usually opportunities to get clues as to their whereabouts, right? I kind of watched this one in fast forward mode, but I definitely haven't heard anything about HIIs. Also, no exile island of any kind this time, so far.

I haven't seen enough seasons to know whether or not there are always HIIs hidden at camp. I do remember the one season (with Sugar and Bob .. whichever that one was) where there were HIIs on Exile Island, but I can't remember if there were some at the camps, as well. Maybe some hardcore Survivor fans could shed some light on this :) |

I thought it was funny the the challenge this week was much more "one on one" v. group effort and the Heroes cleaned up - like the first challenge that was two on two. It seems like I remember someone (either here or on the show) pointing out that when all of those egos try to work together, it's not much of a team effort. I was sort of "meh" about the vote tonight. I didn't want Parvarti to go home, because she's so entertaining to watch, but I didn't care one way or the other about the person who did go home. I think Amanda needs to get with Cirie and say, "Look, I know what happened last time, but last time I gave Parv my word first and kept it. This time I would be giving you my word first, and if we can get Parv to flip, I'll bring you to the end instead if it's a Final 2 instead of Final 3." because the three of them can work Survivor magic together. I doubt much that it would matter who the three of them are playing against, they are all three GREAT strategists who think along the same lines. |
