Were you in high school during the Internet era and was the public eye millions of people across the globe?
I wasn't in high school during the Internet era and we didn't have private journals made public. Even if we did, there's a difference between a local embarassment and an international embarassment.

I think both of these CHILDREN need to grow up. Why would you rat out your sibling like that? So sad. While my brother and I had a love-hate relationship growing up, we'd never do anything like this. Well, they are children and they are growing up in the stupidity that is the Internet generation.
These children are both basket cases. I hope the parents take this as a sign that things are out of control in that household.
I would talk to my brother about his drinking and tell him I was worried about him--assuming sneaking beer into the room means he's sitting around and basically binge drinking. I never believed in underage drinking, so I'd tell my parents if I felt it was something they should become involved in.
