Awww lovelyivy84 don't hate spinning it can really be fun. Ask the instructor if they have a cushioned seat/gel seat or next time bring a towel to wrap around the seat. As you go to the spin class more and more you'll learn to balance you weight to take the stress off your backside.

It's all mental, I am just not built that way. My mind HAS to have something to do while I exercise. Dance classes have me focusing hard on trying to remember the next steps. In weight classes I am concentrating on my form. When I get on the elliptical trainer I put ona book on tape. In spinning classes and boot camp classes it's just too monotonous, I can't do it. After 15 minutes all I can focus on is how uncomfortable I am and I am ready to climb the walls.
Currently my favorite form of exercise is window shopping. That's about all I've done since I started working for exercise, and I am down a pant size, lol.
Well that and changing from sandwiches at lunch to salads (the McDonald's southwest salad is GREAT as long as you go to a good McDonalds that makes the salads fresh). Lifestyle changes!
