One of my boyfriend's pledge brothers lost his fight tonight with leukemia. Prayers requested for his fiance, family and friends.

My mother died in her sleep on Monday 6/10/13. We did not expect this at all, although she did have some health problems. Sadly, my husband and I were not there b/c we live 200 miles away.

I just found out an former co-worker died. I don't know the cause. This makes the 3rd one since I left that state in 2009 (and they were all 65 or younger).

Jackie Price Dunn, a member of Kappa Delta's Eta Alpha chapter at Texas A&M died on Tuesday in a freak cycling accident in San Diego. (In fact, she was a member of the colonization class in 1999) All who knew her, loved her and they are mourning. Send prayers their way. Graciously, I understand, the family donated her organs. Tears of sadness and tears of joy.

How unfortunate. Prayers to her family, friends, and sisters.

So I got two prayer request for members of my old church. First the Father of my old priest is in a "semi-coma" and actively dying. Second, I just found out a friend got a letter from his husband saying that the relationship was over. He just left for some extended medical treatment, but sent the letter before leaving. So yeah prayers for all involved.

Ouch! That's harsh.
