So true. I won this CD and Heather Headley's off the radio recently. The former is great; I haven't listened to the latter.

I'm really behind on many things. I haven't purchased music in so long. I know I've missed alot. :o

I picked up Prince's 3CD set today!!! I only had enough time to listen to "Lotus Flow3r" today. I have to agree with the critics on this one: it is a mess!!! The songs are all over the place, but there are two songs that I loved: "4ever" and "Dreamer" (this track is HOT!!!)

Listening to "MPLSound" tomorrow...

Please let me know how the rest of the CD set is. If it a HAM, I will save my $12! I heard that Lotus Flow3r was ok, MPLSound was really good, and Exiler (the one with Brea) is not great.

MPLSound is pretty good, a little reminiscent of the 80's Prince and a little of the 90's. Elixer is ok if you're into smooth jazz. The lyrics are kind of cheesy, though.

HC one of my cousins just asked me today if I was getting the CD? I told him that I didn't know, because I was hearing iffy things about it. Prince said that Elixer was made because he was tired of waiting on Sade to come out with a new album. AREN'T WE ALL??!! :p

^^^I didn't get that Sade vibe when I heard Elixer. Bria sounded kind of like Chante Moore, but not quite.

Ok, soooo I know I'm really late on this one but... I just listened to Marques Houston's album "Veteran" and I was pleasantly surprised. I am not a big fan, in fact I never liked any of his songs EVER!..something about his voice just irked me...:confused:
But, this album was really good, its now earned a spot in my CD player.:D
