When I saw that Bre was voted off I knew Nicole would win. I didn't even finish watching the show.

Eva is already outshining Nicole in those pics. If Nicole can't stand out she will fade with her pale self.

In the party photos is that that fool Cassandra sporting a wig? She looked so much better with the short blonde hair. She was stuck on stupid.

I'm sitting here trying to figure out why Nicole and not Nik. The only thing that I can think of is that Nik may have seemed to "goodie goodie" to the judges and didn't display that "Bad A Diva Tude". While her pictures were fierce, she kept to herself which wasn't a bad strategy but I think they wanted to see that she could be cut throat because the business is such.

And I think Nik sold herself short at the end when she had the opportunity to tell why she should be the next TM and she was over there crying and said she would be happy for Nicole and they quickly cut/edited that tape and jumped forward with announcing...did anyone else catch that? That was her time to show them DIVA and she didn't. That's my take on it. I'm through with ANTM and I'm hanging up my ANTM Wednesday nights too. Never again will I watch it.

When I'm done with it I mean it just like in 1994 when the Houston Rockets won the playoffs and JET had some other team as the Photo of the Week...that was wrong and I vowed never to buy or read JET again and I haven't.

Yeah, I saw the discussion last night (and that alot of people were happy that Nicole won) and chose not to participate. They're entitled to their opinion (I think Nicole had a better "easy, breezy, Cover Girl" photo, but she screwed up that commercial and her attitude about it sucked). And - either way - I still think the ending was predictable - it was either going to be Kym or Nicole (but I think they were afraid that Kym was turning girls out...). My opinion is not going to be swayed either way & neither is theirs, so it wasn't even worth the keystrokes.:rolleyes:

I'm amused that I was quoted in that thread, and I think it's naive of people to think that race still isn't a factor in today's society, I've been in the entertainment business for 5 years and I know it does.:rolleyes:

Nicole was not the best choice for ANTM, period.

Yepppers. I guess for those that haven't really experienced racism, it's not that easily seen. Of course Tyra can't keep picking AA winners - she'll loose alot of her viewers who'll cry - "she's AA and the majority of her winners are AA".

And while we're at it - What solid reason was given as to why Nik was eliminated? Because they felt she was too "gentle hearted" to handle the modeling world? Puuhhhhhleeeeeaaaaase. Bre had that chick (Nicole) in tears over some Red Bulls.

White or Black it really doesn't matter, if they have what it takes to be a "super model" and a "super model" Nicole is NOT.
She doesn't stand out at all and her personality is bland.

Nic didn't win but I'll bet we'll see more of her then Nicole.

Tyra's show would have eventually been canceled if ANOTHER Af Am would have won. Yes, Naima is "mixed", but you SEE that "drop" of Black in her, therefore....

The same thing happened with American Idol, Taye Diggs show, etc. It's still a WMW and he's making the decisions, like it or NOT! :D It's not our game, nor our rules...so don't get mad when you're called out on it! :D

Did you all see the Reunion Wednesday night? I have a better understanding about what they were looking for this season. Basically, my interpretation is that "high fashion" models are basically sticks.

Tyra said in the past they didn't select high fashion winners and this time that's what they wanted. My thing is if they wanted "high fashion" why weren't all or most of the contestants "high fashion?"

Did you see Lisa jumping up and down on Tyra's couch?????

And Ebony, I think she said "like" 20 times in 2 sentences and that blue eye shadow was not it. :(
