I can't stand Lil Wayne. In the song with T-Pain, Can't Believe It, I don't even think he is saying anything in his verse at the end. He just mumbles. That Lollipop song is just wrong. I see 5 year old little girls going around singing it and they mama thinks it's cute. I'm gonna need you to teach your child how to read and write and not know all the words to this bullsh*t. :mad:

I don't like Flo-Rida anything.

Soulja Boy - he can fall of the face of the earth and my life would actually get better. And someone please tell me why he named himself "Soulja Boy Tell Em"??? :confused:

Plies - is a hot damn mess. Bust It Baby, Put it on Ya and Please excuse my hands had some good R&B singers on it but the songs still sucked. Maybe if he wasn't on his own songs they would be better.:D

The Dream voice did get on my nerves but now I think he grew on me.

I knew it wasn't just me, but I somehow forgot this thread. How can anyone rap about all the money they can burn and waste by popping champagne while this is the worst economy in ages? Some people have been laid off or lost jobs due to businesses closing. Plus the production isn't that great. I hate this awful song.

I hate Beyonce's "Diva", and the video is pretty terrible - like a "hood" version of "SL". txdiva, so on point for comparing the song to be a bootleg Milli. Plus, I bet Mariah and Ms. Patti aren't feeling your definition of diva as a female version of a hustler. Figuratively, I can see it, but the song is still awful.

Back to my Chopped and Screwed and I Can't Believe It. Yes... I am a T-Pain fan. :p

I took the bait. I don't feel anyway about this song. I guess I'm not a Jada fan, so I can't really give a thorough evaluation on him image,... but I'll give it a shot anyway. :P Maybe he's finally decided to grow up a little and come out of the t-shirts, baseball caps, and 3 or more chains. Actually, he's not too "preppy" considering the prepsters we have seen since Kanye has come out. I really was expecting to see Jadakiss in some Izod or Ralph Lauren. So, it's not terrible. Just unexpected.

Of course, your initial "sell out" theory (not your words) seems kinda on point, too. *shrug*

So, I just watched the video and I agree that it sucks hard. I think its the hats that he is wearing and that one black coat that make him look the same way Jim Jones does when he's trying to be fashionable: silly.
Were there any black women in the video? The whole video just seemed out of place. Why was home girl walking down the street in a sports bra? What was up with the salsa dacing chick all by her lonesome in those shots because this def was not a salsa dancing kind of song. This was a defnite No for me.

I saw the exact same thing because the lack of black women as the "leading lady(ies)" in a video is my pet peeve. So now that booty shaking is not so tolerated in an environment where respect is demanded, I swear the black women have disappeared. Sure, it's a diverse world, but why is every desired woman in a video either Asian, Latino, or multi-cultural with a black woman or two thrown in?

So, Jada couldn't desire a black woman as his "wifey"? Seriously??? *sigh*
