I'm not a Delta, I'm not even a woman for that matter, but I just wanted to say Hey to all the Deltas out there, there is a DST Alumni Chapter near where I live and the GEMS here at my school are putting on a Step Show this coming Saturday, and I've noticed how strong and independent some of the Girls have become since becoming a GEM and that's something that I enjoy seeing!

Well anyway I just wanted to stop by and say that I think this Organization is doing a wonderful job with young women in teaching them to stay on the right path throughout life and always do their best, one of the coolest things about the program is that our Principal is a Delta and she plans everything out and we're suppose to have the treat of seeing her and her DST sisters step in the Step Show.

We also have the Little Bruhs of Omega Psi Phi at our school, but I personally am not a fan of them.

Congrats fellow MBAers. I hope you all have joined the Black MBA Association. It's a great networking group.

I have but there is not much activity that I can discern upon reaching out to the Philadelphia chapter....

They used to be a very active chapter from what I remember. But I think the org as a whole is losing its luster. I am not active in the one here (a past chapter president,) because it is mainly geared to younger members. But my daughter is and she enjoys it.

Hello lovely ladies of DST! My name is Moni and I am glad to have the option to join you all this evening/morning. I have been lurking for some time now and was always curious about joining and whether I could. I finally got the guts to do so, and I can say I have enjoyed reading your threads! To tell a little about myself, I am 21 years old, a college senior (a semester left) studying psychology and social work, I really enjoy meeting new people and just being sociable. Although, I may have to go back to school cause I recently changed my focus field to Forensic Psychology and Social Work BUT we will discuss that later LOL!

I do want to give a special congrats to all the new members of DST this spring, and say you are apart of something that not only I strongly believe in, but several thousand of others. Keep up the good work ladies!

Hey everybody. I just wanted to introduce myself to the GC community. Just here to make great conversation and have fun! My name is kind of contradicting itself right now since its raining here in Florida right now! Hope all is well everywhere else! Has anyone read "In Search of Sisterhood" or "The Divine Nine?" I heard they are great reads if you're interested in joining. I just want to be sure before I make a purchase :o

Divine.

You're in a Delta forum asking us if we've read In Search of Sisterhood. What do you think? ;)

If you heard they are good reads, read them. :)
