I know that if it were the other way around, Martin would have gone to prison. It wouldn't have mattered if the victim was black or white, he still would have gone to jail. Y'all know damn well the system is wrong, and it has never worked for black people. That verdict was bullshit, and y'all damn well know it.

I believe so but the difference is the prosecution would probably do what they need to do to have a strong case. That didn't happen in the Zimmerman trial.

The legal and cj system has always been flawed. That point can be made without exaggerating. It is not true that it has never worked for Black people. It often does not work for Blacks and Hispanics but that is not 100%.

The practice of jurors speaking out so soon is annoying but they have every right to do so. Just be prepared to face backlash. It also goes against the "respect and don't question juries" argument that someone in this thread made earlier. Why should we respect and not the least bit question when the jurors themselves are not allowing this to be silenced; and their publicly expressed opinions mirror that of some of the general public?

Not everyone believes the prosecution sucked. Some of us in this thread believe that and have said it numerous times (long thread with long posts). For those who don't believe that, I think Sunny Hostin is among them, it is interesting hearing their perspective.

I agree that Zimmerman should not be harmed. I only have an issue with the "gun or alarm" thing because gun rights advocates were pushing for Zimmerman to get back his gun. There is something missing in this equation.

Trash talking is par for the course. I was just curious about why some people believe manslaughter (with full knowledge of what manslaughter entails in Florida) should not have been considered.
