Exactly! I mean had Jon actually worried about the welfare of his kids, the separation and imminent divorce would have been the perfect outlet to cancel the show.....but noooo, he was making money, why stop that gravy train?

he was just mad because the show was going to become kate +8. i've kept on hearing how kate was such a b*tch to him, etc...and now everyone is surprised at the way he's behaving...just goes to show that there's more to a story than we may know, especially if its on tv.

Uhhhh isn't that why they started fighting in the first place? He wanted to end the show and she didn't.

And like I've said many times before, if the gender roles were switched everyone would be saying "awwww poor Kate".

Yes that is why they *allegedly* started fighting, but if you read the articles about him putting the cease and desist order on the show, not ONCE does he say it's for the kids. In fact in several of the articles, it says he was very happy doing the show. That they were filming a few days before TLC broke the news about "kate+8" and Jon was enjoying it. Then TLC says they are gonna limit Jon's role in the show and he throws a shit fit.

He is not doing it for the welfare or benefit of anyone (or anything) but Jon's wallet.

Right. The timing is just too suspect for it to be about anything else.

I mean, you're cut from the show and then like 3 days later you just decide that you don't want the kids to be filmed on your property anymore? Riiight.

For the record, I'd make the same assumption about Kate if she did the same thing. It's a money-related move.

Whether you like Kate or not, she doesn't deserve to be left with almost no money to pay for bills or anything else she needs to keep her and the kids afloat.

And the article does raise one good question:

While these 2 are all over TV and magazines talking about their divorce, who is at home with the kids and helping them get through everything?

I know that they have nannies and help, but in times like these, there's no real substitute for mom and dad.
