i saw an interview w/Kelle Jacobs (the Black girl from NYC who couldn't get the modeling thing) on the New York Times website where she discussed being a first time voter. she's a senior at Hunter College and it seems out of the modeling game-www.newyorktimes.com, see video and click on her face to see video.

I saw Yaya in a Kohl's ad yesterday! I didn't really like her on the show, but I had to admit, the girl had talent. I'm excited to see her doing work.

My main question is really what do you get from being on "top". All the winners are not seen.

I think it's really a springboard to being "on top." They give you the skills, experience, and contacts to be a top model, but that part, you get on your own. It takes years and years to get to the top of any business and since the show's only been around for 5 years, the girls from it have only been "in the business" for a short amoun of time (with the exception of those who were signed to an agency, but broke their contracts to be on the show).

She STAY working
