Quite happy that Clark's gone.

I could not stand those teeth!

Here you go. You can find the rest of the parts from the playlist on the right-hand side: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOKs0...112C1&index=18

I was voting for Clark before, but lost her. Her overconfidence after having her pic chosen was killing me. Marjorie annoys me to death, but Sam really believing that she knows exactly what Mar is thinking and has right to speak on it at every turn is just as annoying. I'm sure they edited the film to exacerbate that, but still! :)

AlphaXi_Husky 10-15-2008 11:18 PM

This doesn't necessarily pertain to Cycle 11, but I just watched the season finale of Project Runway and saw several familiar ANTM faces - Dani and Bri were in one designer's runway show and I saw Naima was at the casting (I don't think I saw her in a show though). Glad to know some of the models are finding runway work!

christiangirl 10-16-2008 01:37 AM

I saw the recap episode tonight. I always hate those so I was disappointed. I really wanted to see the CG commercial.

But I am geeked everytime I see those purple linens on the girls beds:

I bought that set forever ago and it's exciting to see them on TV! Lol, I feel so stylish. Go Wal-Mart! :p

christiangirl 10-23-2008 01:36 AM

That was the most HORRIBLE elimination I have ever seen. I can't believe Tyra really punked that girl like that.

Thank you...that was so uncool. I cannot believe she eliminated her that way. She says "the person's name I don't call will have to go back and blah, blah, blah" then she says "Joslyn"...gets her all excited then eliminates her. That was not OKAY.

Plus, I really wanted Elina to go home! I cannot stand her for some reason. My money is on Sheena or Analeigh, and I would prefer Analeigh.

Am I the only one that gets to the elimination and is always surprised to see Mckey? I completely forget about her every week!

NAU_OPhiA 10-23-2008 10:54 AM

I agree that elimination was a bit harsh, and totally uncalled for.

I loved Sheena in the beginning, but she kind of has a bit of an attitude. Analeigh is my favorite right now. Her commercial was really good, and totally looked like something you would see on TV.

RaggedyAnn 10-23-2008 12:13 PM

Ugh. I can't find the episode you all are talking about on you tube-but they did have the final announcement on who won.

DreamfulSpirit 10-23-2008 01:10 PM

I honestly can't stand McKey...I know they think her face is so unique, but to me, with her make-over, she just looks weird now. Marjorie is getting to be annoying now and I don't think she can model.

Marjorie and Elina need to get off their high horses because they're European. That annoyed me so much last night. I wasn't born here in the U.S., but I grew up here as they said they did, but I don't make excuses as to the way I am because I'm a different nationality.

Can you pm telling me who it is?

for REAL. It would kind of be like me telling people I'm "Southern" because my (Pennsylvania) hometown is south of Pittsburgh.

McKey needs something fixed with her hair...I don't know what, it just looks harsh. I think Sheena is going to win because they haven't had an Asian winner yet.

My thoughts exactly. With the exception of Analeigh, she's the only other interesting one.

christiangirl 11-05-2008 09:10 PM

*BUMP*

I'm calling it now: Marjorie has to go home this episode. She's already freaking out and it's only the first 9 minutes.

DreamfulSpirit 11-05-2008 09:12 PM

I cannot wait for Marjorie to go home! She gets on my nerves!!!

You do realize that each season there's one girl who gets very, very lost and either only makes it to one go-see or none.

knight_shadow 11-05-2008 09:53 PM

Whoa, what happened to Sheena? I didn't know she was voted off!

DreamfulSpirit 11-05-2008 09:59 PM

Marjorie should have been sent home instead of Elina!

christiangirl 11-05-2008 10:01 PM

*sigh* I wanted a double elimination soooo bad. I'm sorry, but I don't like either of them. GO ANALEIGH!!!

Rickety, shaky, shivery Marjorie needs to go. This is the wrong business for her IMO. She gives up SO EASILY and with Tyra's track record with girls who give up, I don't see why she's still here.

gee_ess 11-05-2008 11:21 PM

Count me in as someone ready to give Marjorie and her " I'm not good enough" neurosis the BOOT! I am so sick of her needy, whiney, personality. Good grief, just thinking about the go-sees sent her into a near breakdown.

I like McKey and Samantha. I think they will be the last two standing.

sceniczip 11-06-2008 01:08 AM

I think McKey and Sam are so obnoxious and mean! If you don't like talking to Elina and Marjorie then just don't bait them because that's what they do half the time... That being said the only one left that I actually like is Analeigh. I think she is just so sweet and she's been doing pretty well :) I really thought Elina would go home over Sheena but I wasn't sorry to see Sheena go...

LeslieAGD 11-06-2008 10:13 AM

I think Samantha is a beeyotch and I hope she is not in the final two. I am crossing my fingers that she gets the boot next, but I am pretty sure it will be Marjorie's turn.

Still sticking with Analeigh. LOVE her.

McKey is my 2nd fave of those remaining.

Fleur de Lis 11-06-2008 04:33 PM

Has anyone else noticed that McKey has zero personality? Girls have been sent home way earlier in past seasons for that alone. However, she is gorgeous and can definitely model. Marjorie obviously has insecurity issues that I believe will be her downfall, and Samantha is way to commercial for Tyra. Analeigh is the only one I can see winning now.

Kappamd 11-06-2008 04:52 PM

I didn't see it, but it sounds like Elina went home?

Yes! I haven't watched this seasons very much at all (maybe 3 episodes?) but I think Marjorie should have gone home instead. How on earth will she talk to clients when she's all scaredy cat like that?

ZTABullwinkle 11-06-2008 07:48 PM

Marjorie will be eaten alive if she can't get a backbone. Can you imagine? While I am not a fan of Elina, I was hoping she would stay instead of Marjorie. I personally am tired of the pity me, I have no self-confidence she exhibits.

whiteandblack 11-06-2008 07:54 PM

I think they made the right decision sending elina home. her posture and facial expressions seem so... fixed.

I agree, and were you as shocked as I was to learn she is only 18? I would have guessed 24 -25. I think Elina has a dark secret. Something that keeps her from "letting loose" like they keep talking about. Maybe she struggles with depression or something. She definitely has some sort of emotional wall she hides behind.

That is my attempt at armchair psychology! ;)

33girl 11-08-2008 01:44 PM

Ellina had talked in past episodes about her frosty relationship w/ her mom. I'm sure that's part of it. But I had forgotten that she is only 18 and shared in Tyra's  when she was reminded.

I'm really not sure how this is going to go. I thought Sheena had it in the bag.

Has anyone else noticed they aren't doing "Cover Girl of the Week" anymore? I think people kept stuffing the ballot box w/ votes contradictory to the judges' choices so they canned it.

a.e.B.O.T. 11-09-2008 03:56 PM

I do think McKey lacks personality, but she is not emotional guarded... so they won't cut her for that. Out of the remaining peeps, she is definitely the most likely to win... all I have to say, as long as it isn't sam!!!

I don't think we have to worry about a blonde winning this time. Although I really like Annaleigh.

I think McKey just looks goofy and awkward...although that's kinda "in" for modeling, so meh.

Hmmm....my turn to psychologize her. :) Elina's an adamant vegetarian, very strongly invested in human/animal rights, kind of swingy on sexuality...very "liberal," in a word. My guess would be her mom holds opposite values and really rejected Elina's lifestyle, especially the sexuality piece (parents tend to get uptight about that). That's why Elina hates her mom, but at the same time blasts people who don't hold the same values she does. She is fighting for the right to have her own identity and do things her way which makes her a control freak; scared that people will reject her so she remains emotionally guarded; but yet she still rails against those who don't think like her because that's how she has been treated and is therefore all she knows.

Yes, I pulled all of that out of my butt. And it was fun. :D

Or could be...she is the child of a poster on a thread on the Chit Chat forum who has cut off all relationship with said child because this child has changed political parties and "turned her back on every value she was ever taught.;):D

Hahaha, or she could be the child of a poster in the Recruitment forum who disowned said child because she pledged the "bottom tier" sorority and they can't show their faces in their small town anymore.

Or she could be the secret love child of Michelle Duggar and a random man from church and Michelle refuses to claim her in that parade line-up she's got going...

gee_ess 11-10-2008 06:29 PM

^^^ LOL!

gee_ess 11-12-2008 11:24 PM

Woo Hoo! Marjorie is gone!

My bet for final two - Annaleigh and McKey with McKey winning the whole thing.

christiangirl 11-13-2008 12:34 AM

Yeaaa! I saw Analeigh get called first, then McKey...then I had to leave. I was hoping someone would post this. Isn't it ironic that the week she FINALLY stopped being a bundle of nerves, she gets kicked off.. It should've happened a long time ago! I think she makes the 3rd girl in ANTM history to get kicked off the week she won the challenge (yeah, I watch this show too much :p).

gee_ess 11-13-2008 09:15 AM

I really like the "where are they now?" updates they give each week. I enjoy seeing what the other girls have done and how far they have taken their careers.
