I met a girl named Hennesey when I was in elementary. Needless to say I didn't "get" her name until I was in high school. I also have a cousin named Jordayshia (pronounced Jor-day-shuh) and we always call her Jordache (like the jeans) My grandmothers(dads mom) first name is Henri, but I didn't know this until I was in middle school when my cousin told me because we've never heard anyone call her anything but Christine, her middle name. And coincidentally, my mothers name is Christiane(its german, pronounced Chris-tee-on), which people always confuse with Christine. So according to anyone who didn't know, there were 2 christines with the same last name.
Which reminds me of my Aunt Aleshia, whose sister in laws name is Aleshia, and whose niece is named Aleshia. All of them have the same last name. Overall... I get confused on holidays  |

Kudos to the judge for looking out for the kid...and shame on the parents for doing that to their kid! |

I hate improper spelling of names just to make them "unique" such as:
Khloe (Chloe) Kristeena (Christina) Kennadeigh (Kennedy) Maddysen (Madison) Brittneye (Cassidy) Karsynn (Carson) Kaytlynne (Katelyn) Yes, I have actually met kids with names spelled like this and I think it's stupid. It's like parents don't think of the fact that the kid will eventually have to be an ADULT with that name. |
