Tom being gay was just plain scary..........


I am still confused about how they can suddenly appear and disappear off the island!!!!

It was just so..... terribly unexpected.

Though my friend told me she remembers Tom telling Kate in season 3 that she's not his type.

One hole has been filled in at least ..now we know where Michael and Walt have been since leaving the island...I wonder what is it that is keeping him from suiciding...I mean he had a LOADED GUN and couldn't kill himself!!

Wasn't Tom the one that was in the hatch with Desmond for 2 years?

Tom being gay was a surprise, but in hindsight, he did tell Kate that one time when he requested that she take a shower (when he took her clothes, told her to shower and put on a dress) and she pretty much accused him of being a perv, and he said, "You're not my type".

So why would Charles Widmore want to kill everyone on the island, once he's got his hands on Ben? Does he want to keep Desmond away from Penelope that badly? The plane cover-up is an interesting twist.

Get hooked on another show? During the long hiatus of shows, I watched every season of House and Friday Night Lights. House, eh, I'm committed to watching it now, but I love FNL! It's entirety is online at NBC too.

Now I'm trying to get through seven seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm... :rolleyes:

I just watched it! Ah! I thought Claire was a gonner for SURE. Bummer about Alex. She was the only Other who wasn't sketchy.

I'm confused about the stuff in Tunisia and Iraq. I know Iraq (if not both places) must be in the future, but I thought Sayid's wife Nadia had died years before when he was in the Iraqi army? Hmm...maybe I've gotten it backwards.

I think Ben either "summoned" Smokie himself, or he contacted Jacob somehow, and Jacob summoned it.

I'm wondering how the guy who shot Alex escaped from Smokie... :confused:

He may have known how to get past him...why did that whole scene remind me of LotR: TT when the Uruk Hai ran into the Fanghorn woods...which mysteriously appeared outta nowhere!

Why did the boat guys think the fence was turned on? We haven't seen anything to indicate that anyone turned it on again.

After they revealed the year in Iraq my first thought was "Ben can travel through time!?!?" Then I remembered that there's flash forwards this season. :( I was bummed.

I truly expected for Alex to get up and ask Ben if she was convincing enough in her "death". Again, bummed when that didn't happen.

Last Night episode was great. I loved the pace at which it moved. We learned more in that one episode than in the whole season 2

Yea the iraq/tunisia/nadia thing confused me too. I was extremely upset about Alex...my roommate thought I was crying lol but I was merely misty eyed. I NEED to know what is up with that smoke thinnnnnggg!!!!

My own personal theory is that the reason why Ben & Widmore can't kill each other are because like Penny is Desmond's constant, Ben is Widmore's constant and vice-versa.

I like that theory. When Whitmore asked if Ben was there to kill him, Ben replied with "you know very well that I can't do that" or something along those lines. I think you're on to something! :D

I thought it was an implication that Widmore had been on the island previously and that only the island can decide if/when he'll die. Like Michael and his suicide attempts in New York.

That's also a good theory! I love this show. It screws with your head so much! :p

I have way too much time on my hands...well, not really. I should be working on my thesis but I couldn't resist. :p

So after last week, I wasn't sure I wanted to watch LOST again, I did tear up when they shot Alex!!!!!!

Did anyone love tonight's flashbacks, at least the first ones? (I am such a romantic!)

The thing that creeped me out the most was trailer for next week, "Well, thats because I have been dead 12 years....) Godspeed = Jacob?

Actually my theory is that Ben and the Others can leave the Island and either put into the future.

excellent episode tonight i thought!!! Tonights flashback was after the trial, and after Jack saw hurley for the first time/ Hurley saw Charlie, but before angsty bearded jack. Im thinking the island is trying to keep everyone on the island, hence kidnapping Claire.

I LOVED it! I thought it was the best in a long time, but I thought it was very confusing!

I don't even know where to begin??? Is Claire dead??? She seemed way to calm having just abandoned her baby...

The whole thing when Locke was a kid and pointing out the objects seemed a bit Dali Lama' esque to me!

I dunno, i think Claire's "out of it" I dont think she is dead. She acted like she did with Ethan when he abducted her.

Yeah it was confusing but pretty cool. A theory is that "move the island" means move through time rather then move physically. Interesting huh.

Oh and who loved the candy bar scene with Hurley and Ben!
