Bout darn time we got back to the meat of the series.......I was in here talking to the T.V. like I was on the phone...;)! When Kenard shot Omar  I was really bout to jump thourgh my T.V. and cap that lil kid myself! McNulty is a fool for telling Kima about everything...I think she's gonna be the one to rat him or that other guy that was blackmailing him so he could go to Hylton Head to play golf? Did you all see how mesmerized Dookie was when he was riding on that cart? He was like wow someone notices me..maybe I'll finally get a job! I'm so glad they figured out the clock system..I really thought old boy was gonna get shot while sitting in the car looking at that map. Templeton you stinkin fink..I'm so glad they are onto his doo doo now...maybe him and McNulty can be cell mates!
|
I didn't understand ANY of the stuff with Dookie today. Why don't Michael just pay to put him in private school? lol

I think Marlo is gay
the end |
You know what........
That wouldn't surprise me. I thought maybe I thought he was gay because I thought the actor was cute (projection?) but then this whole Chris/Michael/Michael's Dad thing has been nagging me. |
yes!!!! remember when Marlo told Chris and Snoop Omar got shot, Marlo said to Chris when this is over you and me got some AC time coming up, Chris looked at him kinda shady like I don't want it no more *whimper whimper*

I think that bug's father molested Michael. Something Bunk said when looking at his file and the way Chris beat the shit out of him while questioning him about if he likes women makes me believe this. |

Bunk said "I know that motherfugger did some hanious ish to you but I know someone of your physicality could not pull something like this off..." ;) |
With Omar now "bagged up" is Kenard gonna be the new Omar? I think the Greeks might snitch on Marlo..because they don't have any ties to him plus to get him back for killing Prop Joe..shoot they (the Greeks) could've been giving him bags of flour and sugar to sell to folks on the street! I also think Marlo's gonna do something to Chris's family!

Late Edition
The Wire: Season 5, Episode 509 With Steintorf ordering Rawls to initiate "creative" remedies for the rising crime rate, Freamon's vigilance pays off with a promising lead, sending Sydnor and the department into overdrive. Although Daniels is originally delighted, a further probe with Pearlman reveals some troubling source information. McNulty, feeling betrayed, doesn't feel like sharing in Freamon's celebration; Michael is suspicious about his latest assignment; Haynes gets fresh eyes to help with fact-checking; Namond's debating skills make Colvin proud; Davis points a finger at Levy and the courts; and Bubbles recounts a recent temptation overcome. -30- The Wire: Season 5, Episode 510 Carcetti maps out a damage-control scenario with the police brass in the wake of a startling revelation from Pearlman and Daniels. Their choices: clean up the mess, or hide the dirt. With his leads predictably drying up, McNulty asks Landsman to pull police off the homeless case - until a fresh homicide ramps up the investigation. A frustrated Haynes finds his concerns about Templeton falling on increasingly deaf ears. Convinced he has the upper hand, but caught in a legal quandary, Levy plays a cat-and-mouse game with Pearlman. Bubbles debates whether to greenlight a newspaper story about his life; Dukie seeks out an old mentor for a loan; and Marlo oversees a new co-op order as he maps out his next move. As the officers stage an Irish wake for another dearly departed officer, the seeds of the future are sown throughout Baltimore. |

Thanks. |
Did anyone else notice that Jim Jones randomly appeared in one scene?
|
I wouldn't know who Jim Jones was if you paid me.
|
I really hope this season finally has closure.

Extreme spoilers for the last two episodes!
Click at your own risk. If it's true, then it's nothing that should surprise most of us. BUT, I am still going to watch because it will be compelling storytelling. |
I cried. :(

I'm glad Mike got to Snoop for before she got to him.:) I had hoped something good would happen for Mike, but I guess not getting killed will have to do. It has been interesting to see the whole Dukie, Namond, Randy, Mike storyline play out.
Kima needs to check under her car before she starts it. Her fellow officers will want her as well as McNulty's head on a stick. Marlo needs to shut the hell up and be glad that Omar didn't get his ass. Mike....damn.:( |
I wonder who was that guy in the evidence room that the commisioner said im glad you landed ok.
I was wondering why did Bunny have so much beef with the Mayor, then i remembered that he showed the mayor through Hamsterdam before it all hit the fan. I know there is a purpose of this media storyline, but i like this storyline atleast 50 times less than the docks storyline. Poor Mike. Bye Snoop. Bubbles storyline is dragging out too long. I love the wire and all, but IMO this may be the weakest season of all. |
I was dying when Snoop asked "how my hair look" when Mike shot her in the back of the head! Dookie is probably gonna turn into a junkie like the Junkman, at least Bug (Mike's brother) may have a chance at the good life since he's not with his brother. It was nice to Naymond again and that's he has made a change for the better. I knew Kima was gonna be the snitch on the Homeless case, I mad that now she wants to grow a conscience after all the under handed junk they were doing before hand. Marlo is such a punk...when he lands up in prison with Wee Bay and Avon it's a wrap for him. I think Chris is gonna rat them all out when they start all the interrogating since he's the only one with a family. McNulty is gonna hang himself the end!
|
Other than police brutality, I don't really remember Kima doing anything unethical in her job.
|
GREAT GOOGAMOOGLIE!!!

I honestly don't remember him standing outside of anything.... was this after he dropped Dookie off? And I couldn't place that guy's face, either -- I thought it might have been that one random major case officer who basically never did any work anyway? |

Pearlman is Rhonda Pearlman, the lawyer lady and Cedric Daniel's boo. |

The purpose of the media storyline is for me to lust after Gus, thanks. LOL I can appreciate the length of Bubs storyline because he's the only "hero" in the show to me now. I wonder if what Daniels did in the Eastern division will come out in the last episode. I know there was like some skimming of drug money or something, but I wonder if they will hype that up. |
