I've seen this episode before but it still gets me when she's fighting her mom for her bags of drugs. She doesn't respect her mom because they did drugs together for 3 years.
I wish her mom had whooped her ass. Forreal. |
I recently saw the update show (which I had never seen) and I was in AWE of the fact that Spray Can Girl is CLEAN now.

Did you happen to see the girl who was anorexic, bulimic and addicted to exercise? I think her name was Amy or something and she was Canadian (it was one of the last new eps in this season). It was so sad because she was living with her parents, but her behavior forced her to have to move into their basement apt. She admitted to having stolen thousands of dollars in cash and valuables from her parents in order to buy food to binge on. I found that to be really scary because just ONE of those disorders is enough to kill you, but all 3 together is almost certain death. She didn't end up staying healthy either. She went to rehab and went right back to the same things :( |
New episode, anybody watching?
|
I didn't know it was new until I saw your post. My DVR caught it and I will catch it today probably.

My husband called the ending of this show about halfway in. I guess it wasn't too hard to, as the son and the mother were so different. This was one of the most depressing ones I've seen, simply because of the way the guy was treating his daughter the one day of the week he had her. Or, in his case, the fact that he was just sleeping.

This last episode was......disturbing. They got drunk together to "bond with each other" held up in the bedroom. And, they sleep together in the bed.... Too bad. |
Former dancer for Soul Train and the Ike and Tina Turner Revue on now. She was first hired as a dancer at 13 and was exposed to drugs and alcohol at a very young age.
What a life. |
This week's episode on Latisha made me cry. :( I watched it twice.

Oooooooooh! I can watch intervention online! Yes!
|
The ep with the girl and her bf was particularly sad.

I hate when it's all going so great...they say yea...get on the plane...go to rehab and have the happy little update. And then at 9:59 the screen goes to its final comment about how So and So just relapsed and is back on the streets doing Whatever Horrible Stuff They Did Before.
Like Latisha. I feel so bad for her little girl. What a story the whole family has...at least the daughter has a safe place to grow up although nothing ever replaces your mom. I was (pleasantly) surprised to see the Romeo and Juliet kids stay clean. |
Larry the alcoholic was kind of embarassing. He said being with his kids is "...the most beautifulest thing in the world...."
Okay, Keith Murray :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQcSoE1bt_A It's sad because part of Larry's addiction has to do with being abused (his mom calls it discipline) by his mom. His mom said "it isn't abuse if you're doing it for discipline...I believe in spare the rod spoil the child...." Uh...yeah, abuse is abuse. |
Tonight's episode is going to be intense.
|
One word: Woah. And...she baby-sits?!?!?
Interesting to see how it turns out... |

She's clean now but she will forever be infamous. And this episode will FOREVER make me laugh. It's sad...with funny facial expressions and quotes. |
