Are ruffles in now?:eek: I looked at Christian's collection and :eek::eek::eek:. I just don't know what to say about it

I'm not crazy about ruffles, but his collection is, well, FIERCE!!!

I'm surprised so many people have commented about Carmen but not Victorya...

Was it me, or did anyone else think there was some strange editing going on...? Because Victorya would make rude comments and it always seemed like they cut what said next. For example, when Heidi was talking about Jack's illness and departure, Victorya made a comment about being "upset" but really it seemed like she was very pissed off about something. I wonder if she was "upset" because she didn't know Jack has HIV, or if it was because they brought back Chris, or if it was another reason altogether...but it seemed like there was a lot more to it than what we heard on the special. :cool:

Yeah....I agree. She always acted like her "draws" were too far up her a$$....

I watched it a second time last night and I missed Victoria's comments again.

If you watch the reunion show again, watch Victorya's face when they're talking about eating chinese food every night. Christian said something about it being stinky and held his nose, and she shot him the look of death.

My favorite line of the whole season was "If being on Project Runway doesn't make you gay, nothing will."

LMAO. He was pretty funny on the reunion show. I loved when they talked about Kit's Chinese Food story

Tonight is the first half of the finale, where they choose between Chris and Rami!

I think I'm rooting for Chris. IMO, a collection from him would be much more interesting than twelve draped dresses coming down the runway. :rolleyes:

I LOVE Chris - can't wait to see what he does! And Jillian. Christian annoys the heck out of me and he's way too cocky. So of course he'll win.

I would love for Chris to make it instead of Rami...however I did go to the site to see the collections and Chris' is well....suckie suckie...but that's just me...:(

However, I was a little freaked out by a certain aspect of Chris's collection. I won't say what in case people are still going to watch, but I'm sure those of you who did know what I'm talking about.

I loved Chris but I can see why they didn't pick him. I love Rami's collection, I hate to admit it, but I see why he's in. I haven't watched a lot this season, not sure if I'll watch the fashion week episode.

I was disappointed in both Chris and Rami's collections. They sucked equally, and the use of hair in Chris's collection freaked me out. (Did I just give away the disturbing "surprise"?)

this week my timing has been ALLL offf. i went to my night job unnecessarily last night (and stayed to get paid, lol) so i missed this episode. im sure bravo will rerun it 50 times before next week though. so the actual Finale Finale is next week?

Yes, it's next week. For sure you will get to see it as many times as Bravo will re-run it. I fell asleep watching it. I'll have to catch it again tonight.

I really wanted Chris to be "in", but his collection wasn't that great. I think he should have stuck with his couture style. and yes, the hair gave me heebie-jeebies!

I hated Jillian's whiney ass all this season, and really didn't think her design skills were "all that", either, but I have to admit...I think I like her collection best.

I think Christian designed his collection for himself - I could picture him wearing his own designs, even though they are women's wear.

Those were horrific. I don't know what he was thinking....and I don't think he is going to take Tim Gunn's advice about them.

it took me all season to come around on Jillian, i thought her collection was blah at best. but i can see her winning.

and Tim's monkey house analogy was SO true! it worked on that one jacket but the rest... no way.

i agree, both collections left a lot to be desired.

I really liked Chris but not the hair---yucky poo. Christian is amazing but I am not really sure how wearable his clothes are. I felt really sorry for him in his tiny apartment when Romey, Chris and Jullian had those nice places to work. Christian reminds of some designer on the second season who is now designing wedding dresses for someone on the housewives of Orange County.
Does anyone know of a web site you can go to find out what past designers are are doing.
And whats up with Bryant Park?? Both Chris and Sweet Pea showed there. There clothes or on U Tube and stuff.

Me too. Although her designs aren't the most interesting, they are the most wearable. And she's from Long Island, so I have to root for her :)

They were the "decoys." Because the shows at Bryant Park happened before the airing of the shows that showed who was going on, they have the one (or two in this case) who got auf'd still show.

Which made me think last night, how do the other designers feel about that? Obviously Chris and Sweet P don't have a chance to win, but they still get to make a collection and show at Bryant Park, which is a huge honor in itself.

Her collection wasn't the only thing that was blah. She just seems so down and boring all the time. She may be a good designer, but her personality is NOT good for TV. I know that's not what the show is all about, but I'd rather watch Chris, Christian, etc. than her. Especially when she gets stressed.

I don't remember much about Austin's designs from his season, but I thought his bridal gowns that were shown on "Real Housewives" were absolutely GORGEOUS.

I liked the show tonight. It should't be a spolier since I live in Mt. Time at it is after 10 PM. I really liked Julian's clothes and Romi evening gown. I figured Christian would win, but don't know I will buy his clothes. I guess I like the "Long Island" designers, Michael Kors, Donna Karan and Ralph Lauren since I have so much of their stuff.

I thought all three collections were amazing. But they were totally different. Jillian's stuff is trendy, but totally feminine and wearable. Both she and Romi understand and appreciate a woman's body. Romi's collection was beautifully constructed, but I agreed with the judges comments that he makes some bad decisions about color - those hot pink pieces would've been so much more stunning if they were a more sophisticated color. Christian is very dramatic and you can see his passion in his clothes, but I realized when they did the fast forward through his collection during the judging that most of the bottoms in his collection looked the same - skinny pants. With a poofy top. So that bugged me, since I didn't notice it until they did the fast forward...I was guessing the judges didn't notice it either.

In the end I actually liked Jillian's most, because it was closest to my taste, and I've liked most of her stuff throughout the show. But then again, I think Christian has been consistently good thru the show, too.

First time poster in this thread but have watched all of Project Runways since its inception. I thought that Jillian's collection was amazing and yes, very wearable. Rami's weaving of the fabrics was breathtaking but I disagree with the judges. I loved the black gown and the beige gown. Gorgeous!! I liked the teal and the hot pink and they didn't look like Brady Bunch colors to me. Christian's clothes were, well...they definitely represented everything that he is about...FIERCENESS. Okay, maybe there were a little too many damn ruffles. lol. But, all in all, I loved it. Particularly the beige and brown gown with the feathers because when the model walked you could see the gown move in the back. All in all, it was a great show and I can see why the judges selected Christian. I think they weighed Posh Spice's (lol) comments more than they have for guest judges in past Season Finales.

BTW, did anyone see Bianca (ANTM contestant from last season) when they were doing go-sees for the models?

She was cast in Chris' "decoy" show.
