OMG my manager at my new job smells so freaking amazing.....the same scent as this playa at 'SC who I took to my winter formal last year.......Seriously the scent makes me really want him!!!

one of my good friends from school wears Hugo. it smells amazing on him!

the guy i like right now wears cool water, which is my other favorite for guys!

eta: i always wear cool water woman. i am curious at what, i think Ralph Lauren, Blue smells like though.

I wear one of three perfumes:

Coolwater, Calvin Klein Truth, or Tocade by Rochas.

Tocade is my favourite, the hardest to find (most places only carry the men's line by Rochas) but the most beautiful. I also have sentimental value placed on this perfume... which of course makes it extra special :)

I just got THE BEST new perfume. It's so freaking good!! It's called Very Sexy for Her 2. You all have to stop into a Victorias Secret Beauty store and smell it because its only going to be out until January 4....then it'll be packed away until February!!! :) :)

I love Angel by Thierry Mugler. It is absolutely spellbinding to me. I wear it and just love smelling myself. lol

On my husband, I love Pleasures for Him by Estee Lauder and Curve for Him by Liz Claiborne

I like Intuition by Estee Lauder, I got a bottle for my birthday a couple years ago and wear it only occasionally because it is a little strong for wearing in Florida every day. I would like to find something lighter, but unique, any suggestions?

As for my wonderful guy, I bought him a sample-size bottle of Lucky (he's rather picky about scents) and he loved it. It's not very impressive in the bottle and it's not very expensive, but on him it's amazing. I had to go buy him a bigger bottle!

I have always liked Estee Lauder's Beautiful but I seem to have developed an allergy to it! The last time I went on a date I wore it and I sneezed all night..LOL. Glad I didn't like the man because I was sure I wouldn't get another date from him.

Since I was little, I have worn L'air du temps (sp?) and Arpege (Lanvin). I also currently have So Pretty by Cartier, Ralph Lauren Romance, Banana Republic Classic, Clean and Clean Baby Girl from Sephora. I don't know if I like Clean...it kinda smells like Palmolive, but I really like Clean Baby Girl...my mom gave me both 'cause I was about to buy them but she had already bought some and had not used it.

For men, I like Kouros (it means young, male vigor...meow!), Curve for men (although it has that ex-boyfriend flashback thing going on), and Gendarme.

I agree that Drakkar and Cool Water totally remind me of an eighth grade dance!;)

For Christmas I got A&F Now. Had never heard of it or smelled it, but I love it!

I just recently got the new scent Stella (by Stella McCartney) which I love and also got the Donna Karen Cashmere Mist-glitter perfume-which is wonderful!

I got Stella at the end of September, and I absolutely LOVE IT! I also got the body wash and lotion, which are also verrry nice. :)

Chanel Allure is my new everyday fall/winter scent.

Beauty by Kate Spade is my spring/summer (though my hubby doesn't like it until after the drydown--too "flowery." To which I just say, I like it, so there! :p)

I usually wear Miracle (by Lancome.) But, I also wear Oxygene (by Lanvin), Oui (by Lancome), and Ralph by Ralph Lauren. I love all of these perfumes.

BTW: Has anyone tried that new Cashmere Mist perfume? I was hoping to buy some before I went back to school. I wasn't sure if any of the female GCers have used it.

Ha, I still wear Hanae Mori Butterfly and LOVE it -- sort of vanilla-y and not too strong, heavy, or floral.

The old man doesn't do smells, but Joop! is kind of insane.

Honest to God, I've gotten the most compliments on Skin Musk. It's a cheapy perfume you can get at the drug store. I read an interview with Sarah Jessica Parker once and she said she wore it, too. I haven't worn it in a while though b/c it's a little heavy for summer.

I get my second most complements on Chanel Coco Mademoiselle.

I also wear Marc Jacobs - very light and nice for everyday.

I LOOOOOOOVE Marc Jacobs. It's a very good daily fragrance.

For myself I have Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue or CK Summer. For the boyfriend Very Sexy for men is nice. So is Lacoste.

I'm currently alternating between Promesse by Cacharel or J-Lo's Live.

i went all the Vegas for Un Fleur de Chanel, and they didn't have it... The Galleria in Houston lied!

I love "Casaque" by Jean d'Albret... but it was discontinued years ago. I was so happy to find that a company named Irma Shorell bought the recipe and is now manufacturing it. That's what I'm wearing now!

It's very light and subtle with the most fabulous scent that I can't even compare to anything else in the stores. It has a combination of hyacinth, mimosa, lemon, bergamot, jasmin, lily of the valley, ylang-ylang, carnation, orange flower, rose absolute and sandalwood.

I don't have a real favorite men's cologne... there are so many I like. Among them: Polo Ralph Lauren Blue, Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme, and Burberry London.

I wear Burberry Brit...my fiance wears the men's version. We're very matchy matchy, apparently.

I love Chanel No. 5!

I like Polo Black and Polo Blue. In fact some lady at work liked the Polo Black so much she made some rather odd comment.

I think on a woman J Lo's Glow is good, I can't think of any other perfumes right now.

-Ralph Lauren Romance (love it, but now it reminds me too much of college to wear it since I wore this and Estee Lauder Pleasures ONLY throughout all my college years)
-Chanel Allure, I love it but stopped wearing it all the time after a boy I liked told me that I smelled "realy nice, but kind of like my grandma" :(
-Gucci Rush, love love love this but it's too heavy for daily wear for me
-One of the Victoria Secret perfumes, I am so clueless and don't even know which one it is but it was on sale and smells awesome


I am pretty sure I am going to purchase a new bottle of perfume this weekend; the question is...do I go with Philosophy Amazing Grace (I can't get over how much I love this stuff) or something else? I am looking for a new scent that I can wear daily, like I used to with Romance. I will have to head to Von Maur on Friday I guess to check out the perfumes...hopefully I'll be able to find something awesome to spoil myself with. ;)

Also for guys my favvvvvvvvorite cologne is Estee Lauder Pleasures for men, nothing ever smells as good as this does, to me anyway. And I'm allergic to Polo Sport, which I also think is just about the tackiest cologne ever, next to Cool Water, Tommy Hilfiger, or anything else you'd find on a 15-year-old awkward high school boy. :(
