I did too...it was a good, suspenseful episode...but really creepy with all the animals-eating-people stuff!

Some oddball new cable channel that I'm getting has re-runs of Mr. Ed. I have DVRd a few episodes to show my kids. I wonder if they'll find it as funny as I still do?

'Chunk' no more. Check out how Chunk from the Goonies looks like today: http://www.tmz.com/2009/02/17/chunk-...ies-memba-him/

He's also an Alpha Epsilon Pi.

I've never watched The Apprentice, but I'm excited for the new Celebrity Apprentice. If T-Boz wasn't on it, I wouldn't even bother.

Tom Green is supposed to be on, too. I wonder how he felt about the part of the Grey's finale where we found out Alex lied about losing a nut to cancer?

I used to watch The Apprentice religiously in undergrad (I was a business major, so several professors would discuss episodes). I haven't watched it in a while, though. When is the new season supposed to start?

cuteASAbug 02-17-2009 05:24 PM

I wanted to cry myself to sleep after hearing Snoop Dogg's remix of "I Walk the Line."

This show is proving to be more and more ridiculous, as Trump Casinos today filed for bankruptcy for a THIRD time.

It's so funny to see it again, it is soooooooooooooo 70s.

He was so cute but yet so corny.

It was sooooo 70s but yet so stereotypical and lightweight offensive.

I smiled and cringed at the same time. LOL.

Jon Stewart is about to pound on CNBC's Cramer in person -- sure to be worth tuning in to!!

Poor Natasha Richardson. :(

Quote:

As Natasha Richardson remains in a New York hospital, her family and friends have all but given up hope that she'll recover from a severe head injury.

"There is no chance," a family friend told PEOPLE on Tuesday night. "It is a fact that her heart is beating but she is brain dead."

Her dire condition – doctors described it to those close to Richardson as "leakage of blood between the brain and skull," the friend says – has the actress's family coming to grips with potentially having to make an unthinkably difficult decision. "It's not official yet," says the friend, "but they basically will detach her."

Richardson, 45, the daughter of actress Vanessa Redgrave, suffered a devastating head injury Monday while skiing on a beginner's slope outside Montreal during a trip with at least one of her two sons. Her husband, Liam Neeson, 56, raced from a Toronto movie set to be with her as she was hospitalized.

TMZ and Eonline.com both said that her family made a decision to take her off life support about 7 hours ago. :( I was really hoping she'd pull through.

ETA: Natasha Richardson has died.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Natasha Richardson. :(
I loved her and enjoyed watching her movies. She was a classy lady and a great actress.

It's so weird. I guess you never want to fool around with head injuries, but that you could fall down, have no visible injury, but die just shocks me.

It's so weird how my heart hurts for someone I've never met. I feel for her husband, children and family.

I'm sad Lil Kim got voted off Dancing w/ the Stars. She did such a great job!

srmom 05-06-2009 03:46 PM

Me too! She really grew on me as the season progressed. She seemed so genuinely happy to be on the show.

I love Ty, and think he is a real sweet heart, but geesh! he needs to go!! Poor thing trying to swing his hips at Jewel - at least she loves his dancing ;)

As long as the final 3 are Shawn, Gilles and Melissa, all will be well with the world :D

PeppyGPhiB 05-06-2009 04:06 PM

I spent the weekend at The Bamboozle, the huge music festival in New Jersey. I got to see No Doubt kick off their national tour, and I got to meet Fall Out Boy. Patrick Stump is hot.

christiangirl 05-11-2009 12:49 AM

I didn't know Joan Rivers was 75. I don't think she really did the type of work Trump was looking for in an Apprentice, but I'm still glad she won. Annie was such a witch! But where the heck was Tionne during the finale??

I know none of the cast is young enough to come back and play their characters (except they have to bring back the Shrink that was writing the romance novel)...but considering the state of one of the most well know stars from this movie, is this a good idea? Nevermind the fact that it's just an "out of ideas, let's steal from something that worked" move.

This might've been a hit right after the movie, but now all I can think is that they're going to butcher a milestone from my childhood. Some things are timeless and can always be re-made (like Disney movies that become series). I think the hang-up is that 10 Things is a culturally specific interpretation of The Taming of the Shrew (which pretty much everyone knew when it came out). If ABC was going to remake that work specific to 2009 it might be okay. But to recreate an interpretation is what'll throw it under the bus--too much copying IMO.

Ok, I see the sexy girl, the nerdy guy, and the...breath-taking bad boy?

http://www.pastemagazine.com/article...10things-m.jpg

Any of you ladies falling over yourselves for this guy?

And I agree. The movie was just OK. I don't really know how they can stretch this out into a series, either (and, after 10 years, who cares to see it?).

Thank you! I thought the movie pretty much sucked. You really can't turn a crappy movie into a good TV show. They should just let it be and move on to something else.

Munchkin03 05-12-2009 09:07 PM

I can't watch the TV show, 'cause I'll be thinking of Heath Ledger the whole time. :(

SydneyK 05-13-2009 08:49 AM

I wish Tara had won the Biggest Loser last night. I also wish the finale hadn't lasted THREE FRICKIN HOURS. That's crazy. I tuned in at the beginning to see whether Ron or Mike was selected for the final three, then I turned the TV back on at 10:30 to see who won. It really is amazing to see the before/after shots of those people!
