As the source of the quote, I really never took the "T-shirt" thread as being "worried" about another org. I think things have gotten waaayyy out of hand. I understood this post to be about a general question of whether or not these silly T-shirt antics are a commonality at other institutions. In all honesty, the bruh just followed up with what happened. What WE tend to forget is that:

1) non-greeks are reading these sad attempts to make each other look bad,
2)if you don't like any thread...then don't post a comment,
3)this is ONLY the internet,
4)the "P" in PM stand for personal, so use it if you have a personal comment;)

What neither of you understand is that this is a messageboard. He was telling his version of some childish antics between our sorors and the AKAs. Soror LG merely showed him where his focus should be. Instead of trying to clown others, he should be leading the campaign to take down that messy representation od KAPsi that was put up by HIS chapter.

My comment had nothing to do with the t-shirts. it had everything to do with your frat posting an "update" about bad behavior between my sorors and sistergreeks that even the person he initially directed it to said they did not want to be kept posted.

As for non-greeks reading these sad attempts to make each other look bad. This whole thread has done that--from the clowning of the Alphas and AKAs, to the clowning of the Deltas and AKAs again.

Hypocrisy is not a good look!

I guess the problem I have with this is that some of us don't see belonging to an NPHC or Mason org as something that should be revered and respected. If some of us started behaving like it is an honor and a privilege to belong to our orgs, you wouldn't have half of this disrespectful stuff going on.

Sometimes we take the competitiveness too far. It is disrespectful to your own org and the others to cheapen them with all of these "new" terms to show unity with one or two other orgs while excluding the others (mother/father/cousin, etc),.

I would bet that all any of our Founders had to do to "show unity" was just stick to the ideals and principles the organizations were founded upon and be respectful and supportive of the other orgs and their work in the community.

The length of time I have been a GC member has nothing to do with what I have to say in my posts. My mere suggestion is that people start acting like adults. Personally, I have many friends that are Deltas, AKAs, and Alphas that would not participate in such things. A few poor choices from frat/soror members do not speak for the organization. Just as some people in my org have made other bad choices.

In closing, I WILL say this. If ANYONE, chooses to attack someone else...that's on you, but I WILL NOT engage in simple practices and be subject to personal attacks from Vet GCers or New Kids on the Block. Having said that...if you have a reply to this comment. Be a man or woman about yours and hit me up in a PM!

Let me ask you this. Do you feel the start of this thread and the subsequent reporting of the drama at FMU was a result of adult-like behavior?

And you also didn't respond to my other observation. Don't you think that this whole thread from the start showed a disrespect for other NPHCers to non-Greeks?

LG look, with all due respect, I do not feel the initial post was showing disrespect to any other org. I just think it started as an initial question to see how common this was in other places. People stated their opinions about it and Marquise gave a follow up. There is nothing more different than people posting follow ups about my org on other threads. I do not find that offensive. I just think as adults we should agree to disagree. I don't think Marquise meant any disrespect to the Ladies of Delta Sigma Theta. He said they crossed a certain number of "Beautiful Ladies". I will always respect DST (all other orgs too) because many influential women in my life are women of Delta Sigma Theta. I just think that personal attacks about web sites, grammar errors, and other things are petty.

I can respect what you have said, and I apologize to Marquise for that reference. And we will agree to disagree, because I do think it turned disrespecful to my sorors and my sistergreeks, because some of us said we didn't want to hear what happened. And I (although two wrongs don't make a right) responded accordingly.

You said it is ONLY the internet, but don't forget how wide-reaching the Net is. This will show up on other MBs and list-serves and reach more folx than we can imagine. And it may even cause problems for the chapters involved with their national/regional leadership.

LG I see your point, but trust, just like someone can log on and see what drama is happening at FMU via this thread. They could have been standing in the crowd and could have seen that probate show. They could be walking around campus and see those stupid t-shirts. I share your concern for your sorors safety, but obviously they don't care as much as you do. That's the point. These tasteless t-shirts are out of hand. It's one thing to put your problems in writing, but to put it on a t-shirt for the world to see:confused: . LG I didn't disrespect Delta Sigma Theta in any way. I didn't bash the organization as a whole. I specifically stated that it was the behavior of a few individuals. You in your quest to protect what is dear to you missed that. Don't be so quick to pull out the box cutter, it will get you into some fights you might not walk out of. I don't bash any Frats/Sororities. I respect them all. So don't accuse me of that. I just stated the facts. It might have rubbed a few peeps the wrong way, but it was the truth.

It is very much so "adult behavior", to ask two simple questions for the sake of knowledge. None of my theads begin with, "Girrrrrrrrrrrl did you hear..." I ask specific questions and request specific answers. It's when others begin to answer questions that were not asked that things get complex.

To non-greeks, this thread is simply just a q&a. I didn't insult or belittle any organization. So where would they see any disrespect?

Unknown2u has always been a handle of mine. Its just a screen name like any other. I have not posted under any other name but this one. You can't tell who someone is by a user name anyway. If you need to know my creds PM and I wont hesitate to tell you. Besides who I am or what my name is should not matter when the truth is being spoken. I think we spend too much time worrying about WHO said it as oppose to WHAT was said. Ya feel me?

about 3 years ago, there was this message board I used to read. Each time a person posted their IP and MAC address was logged then posted. Users couldnt get an alias because all you had to do was look at the MAC address to verify the poster. I know we cant do that because people would initiate DOS attacks to peoples computers. But I wish we had something like that on GC because sometimes people get extra-shady and they need to be outed.
