I read his story last night on CNN. I thought it was funny that he chose George Mason on accident because he rushed through the first time and thought he had chosen George Washington. He created another bracket because he had not intended to choose GM, but that bracket got thrown out a while ago, and the "mistake" is proving to be quite a winner.

What a stud

KSigkid 03-28-2006 12:58 PM

I definitely did not do that well on any of my brackets, although I do know one person who picked GMU because she "thought the name sounded cool."

wouldnt it be fitting if both the LSU men's and women's team won the entire thing? after everything that the state has gone through with katrina and such, maybe this was meant to be.

AOIIalum 03-28-2006 02:07 PM

Wow, I'm darned impressed by Pleasant's "mistake"!

Yes I think it would be very fitting. I for one would like to see both teams win

There are a few people in my family who would die happy if that happened...

So, I'll be at a wedding reception in New Orleans Saturday during the LSU game. Do you think there will be many people there demanding a TV?

Either that or they have been paying off a whole lot of people!--quote from Mr. 1228 (who is still pissed because I have kicked his butt)

Joachim makes for GREAT TV, antics-wise. Plus, the networks love 2nd generation athletes.

But his father was (still is) much much hotter..

Regardless, Joachim is an incredible player..as are the rest of the team. And that's all that matters! :)
