I think not only is Pratt's brother in the ambulance, but also is either Sam or Pratt. Rumor has it, the dead person is a cast regular. Pratt's brother, I wouldn't call a regular.

The doctor who Neela hooked up with is brand new. He is Anspaugh's nephew, and quite the cad. We also found out that Moretti's son ended up inpatient for treatment, but I can't recall why.

Excellent job. I've added a few more items, in blue.

Steve Buscemi's character is brought into the ER. He's in the Witness Protection Plan, for testifying against organized crime. Sam & Pratt treat him, but the WPP guys want him out of there.
- Neela's mentor quits county
- Neela hooks up with the Dr. with an accent (is he new?)
This is the rather obnoxious Aussie Doctor, Dr. Anspaugh's nephew.
- Dr. Moretti apologizes to Luka
- Luka punches Dr. Moretti in the Face
Pratt buys diamond ring for his girlfriend/fiancee.
- Abby and Luka reconcile
- Pratt's Brother gets into med school
- Sam and Pratt argue over who will be in the Ambulance transporting the Steve Buscemi character
WPP guys don't want either Sam OR Pratt to get into ambulance, but agrees to take one of them. Abby walks back to County, past the ambulance
- The Ambulance transporting Steve Buscemi explodes...
- Cliffhanger: Was it Sam or Pratt in the ambulance? I personally think it was Pratt's brother who will end up dead.
Neither Sam nor Pratt is seen outside of the ambulance. Was Abby affected? Did she get past the ambulance in time?

Me, too. I hope he meets with a nasty kangaroo during the hiatus!

I'm sooooo sad...I'm tearing up!!!! I can't believe it!!!

Senusret I 09-25-2008 10:43 PM

:(

This is messed up and sad.

nittanyalum 09-25-2008 10:44 PM

I know, when Frank touched his shoulder as he was being wheeled into the elevator... I lost it.

Senusret I 09-25-2008 10:45 PM

Me too. :( At first I thought he was walking away, but then he touched him.

Oh god, here it comes again....:(:(:(

DreamfulSpirit 09-25-2008 10:50 PM

OMG!!!!! :(

Senusret I 09-25-2008 10:51 PM

And again...... and again for ER Chief...

nittanyalum 09-25-2008 10:52 PM

What's wrong with his girlfriend again? I forget what she had surgery for.

nittanyalum 09-25-2008 10:54 PM

Ok. The big picture just did me in. Again.

Senusret I 09-25-2008 10:56 PM

...and the organ donor list.....yup. Got me. Again.

nittanyalum 09-25-2008 10:58 PM

When did Morris get so darn likable????

Senusret I 09-25-2008 10:59 PM

Since we forgot he was in Critters.

DreamfulSpirit 09-25-2008 11:00 PM

Didn't Morris and Pratt start around the same time?

DreamfulSpirit 09-25-2008 11:00 PM

People are gonna start leaving as the show is ending...

I'm excited for Dr. Carter to come back...as well as Dr. Greene's appearence!!!

Yeah...he's supposed to be in Angela Bassett's dream

honeychile 09-25-2008 11:04 PM

*sob*

That was cruel - after the last show, I was sure he was killed, but then they gave us hope, only to take it away again. :(

I don't want Abby to go, especially if it means that she & Luka ARE getting back together. I'm thrilled that some of the former regulars are stopping back, but I have the feeling I'm going to feel like my heart's being ripped out every Thursday this season...

DreamfulSpirit 09-25-2008 11:05 PM

I can't imagine what they'll do for the series finale...this was hard enough....it can only get worse from here. :(

nittanyalum 09-25-2008 11:08 PM

I know. A whole season of this will be emotionally exhausting! (but I still love it... :))

DreamfulSpirit 09-25-2008 11:11 PM

Me too...I'm going to start collecting the ER series.

I wonder if Dr. Ross will make an appearence as well...as this could be very hard emotionally, it would be kinda cool to have one last appearance from past characters :)

I hope so! I hope he & Carol bring the twins!

The boy started giving me the ER series last year, for each holiday. I'm up to season 8. Plus, I have one client I try to visit when ER is on during the day ;) she and I both love ER!

DreamfulSpirit 09-25-2008 11:16 PM

Wow...looking over who all has been on the show, and their characters...the memories.......

ER Cast Past and Present

ZTABullwinkle 09-25-2008 11:47 PM

Add me to the blubbering list for this episode. Yes, Greg and Morris started about the same time. I like that Morris has turned the corner. As for the surgery Bettina had, she had colon cancer (IIRC) and had most of it removed last season. That was about the time that Greg started getting serious about her.

nittanyalum 09-25-2008 11:49 PM

^^^That's right! Thank you!

thetalady 09-26-2008 01:57 AM

WAAAAAHHHHHHHH :'-(

I don't know if I can get through this season. This week wrung me out. When Morris handed Bettina the ring, I just lost it.

I was afraid he was going to tell her that he had always had a crush on her & kiss her! Flashback to his less sensitive past, I guess!

i don't know about Julliana but George Clooney has indicated that he's not coming back to reprise his role. :(

i was so upset last night. it's always hard when kill off the doctors (Dr. Greene and Lucy). well, except for dr. romano. that was actually brilliant and ironic.

Kevlar281 09-26-2008 01:33 PM

Was I the one expecting there to be two ER characters seriously hurt so we wouldn’t know which one was going to die? Kind of like when Lucy and Carter got stabbed. I hated that they told you someone was going to die and then Pratt was the only one who seemed to be in a life threatening situation.

Also I thought outside of the actor who played/s Pratt that the acting was horrible in that episode. It all seemed so loose. And the cheese stick toast? Terrible.

PeppyGPhiB 09-26-2008 03:04 PM

I cried at multiple times during last night's episode. When the tears started running down his face and it was clear that he knew he was in serious trouble. When they rolled him out of the ER and the brother said he wanted to do it. And then when Morris gave Bettina the ring. BooooooHoooooooooooo.

So is Angela Bassett going to be the new chief? Or is Carter coming back to take it? Carter would be my preference, because that would take the show full circle...he was the most junior person in the ER when he started, so it would be cool to have him end as the most senior.

Yes, Angela Bassett is going to be the new chief. I think Noah Wyle is only returning for one possibly two episodes. I am most looking forward to Anthony Edwards. I still have the tivo of his death saved. Last night was the first time since then that I have cried about the show.

Senusret I 10-10-2008 09:45 AM

I didn't like her character at all.

Seems like she's the typical "Angry Black Woman" -- some of the things she was doing would definitely lead to a complaint with HR.

But I've never truly liked how ER wrote black characters anyway.

honeychile 10-10-2008 11:48 AM

At the end of the show, they showed Angela Bassett's family - who seem to have been killed in the tsunami a few years ago. Her vulnerability came out, too. I hope they keep that up.

I don't want Abby to go!!!!!!! WAHHHH!!!!!!

honeychile 10-16-2008 11:03 PM

Okay, I admit it - when Abby put her hand against the glass, I put mine up to it. I am truly going to miss her - and as someone who didn't like Maura Tierney prior to ER, that's saying a lot. Ten years!! It's impossible to believe that she's been around that long! LOVED her rant with the suits!

But I lost it when she & Haleh put the locker names on the wall with the other doctors of the past. And when Abby & Luka kissed. Crap, here I go again...

I still think that there's a story behind Dr. Banfield (Angela Bassett) and her family. I'm thinking that they died somehow.

I lost it when she danced around the ER with Frank. He by far is the one who is killing me this season with his scenes. I am waiting to hear what happened with Angela Basset's family. She mentioned something tonight about loving that age, when Abby told her how old Joe was.
