Lol, I gotta agree with OTW on this one.

I know SeussN10 offered to reveal the info via PM, but when will be public knowledge? I doubt it'll turn into an "OMG I hope they choose XYZ" thread. I'm itching to know.

Good luck to the groups that were chosen to present! [/B]

It is not pulbic knowledge until after a group is chosen to colonize (week or two after last presentation) and even then some groups like Sigma Kappa on another expansion thread, won't even post here. It is a bit unlucky to do so until the gorup colonizes, I guess. I think the time during presentions should remain an off-greekchat discussion. The 3 or 4 groups know who the others are but it really should remain "behind-the-scenes".

If you are "itching" to know, ask SeussN10!!!!

I'm not trying to be funny. I'm just re-stating the obvious. The quote was taken from a post Erik made in the TKE forum. It hasn't been edited in any way.

So if you're going to give anyone shit, don't give it to me. Give it to your butt buddy...the one who hates on 'fatsos' and 'ethnics'.

Fuck you and go to hell. And take Erik with you.

Tom Earp 12-31-2005 05:11 PM

Smooth, very smooth=# 10 sandpaper smooth!

Amazing how much time You spend on others postings and You are working! I only check certain Posts, Not everyones!

God, I wish I had a Job like that!

Yep, it does suck. But Erik is the one who said it, not Sandy. So go bug him.

Is this a positive + for when someone posts a demeaning statement and adds someones Name to it?

I think someone was asked to take a sig off in placing someones name in it?

And I just also Love Her Remonsteration of the English Language when I was so Chastise for *ing letters Out!

I do not want to make any further comments about (THIS PERSON) who is so far above anyone else on Site!:(

Glitter650, sorry I am disappointed in Your statement.:(

ERIK MADE THE "DEMEANING" STATEMENT. OTW didn't make it up, sorry.

Yes, he is "so far above" anyone on this site when it comes to sexist, racist, and ignorant statements.

Take your shit elsewhere, Tom

What would have otherwise been an innocent post in an innocent TKE thread, he couldn't help but throw in his two cents about the uglies, the fatsos, and the ethnics... who, according to Erik, contributed to the demise of GreekChat.

It's in the ending of the post...if you can make sense of all the unnecessary carriage returns.

But yes, flip chicks are the best. Just look at our mothers. :)

I am a few months shy of 70, fraters. I never met anyone with my forename (first name) 'til I was 16...in Kansas. Now there are
Eric and Eriks all around. And TKE is no exception...we got old Erik, young Erik, Keystone Eric, well endowed Eric, and so on.
TKE used, USED, to be a killer, a powerhouse in Missouri. We have a few good chapters, but dead ones at UMStL, UMKC, SEMo,
Central, Tarkio (school closed), colonies supposedly at Mizzou & Missouri State and were blown out of the water at two potential newbies.
So, it is indeed time. Old Erik, me, has not retired, but frankly, this
site sucks, the GC one, Greek in general, has a bunch of uglies as
know-it-all hoggers and nasties, and it has an extremely heavy
ethnic (I call it discrimination) wannabees who have no clue other
than step shows and alum networking
. But, in all fairness to them, we might say that the concept of Fraternity is indeed different these days, just as Zeta Psi, Deke, the old Union Triad, are different than modern Pike, Sig Ep, Lambda Chi, TKE, Kappa Sig, Sigma Chi, SAE, and there are some in-betweens as Beta who
has most of the marbles, self-important Phi Psi with their BFD large endowment, and so on. But I have not retired. I have been
a TKE volunteer now for 42 years, got no awards, honors or thanks, but then...I am not doing this for the brag plaques, I got
plenty of them in my career. But I am interested mostly in NIC groups, mostly housed, 50s era-type fraternities, and these were
the kind of chapters I worked with. We were mannerly, we were
fraternal, and we were discreet. I am in poor health and have a helleva tough time with no legs now (diabetes) but I can still yell
and talk...not like Tex, Wilson, Logan but there are not many my
age around...Melchert...and we have run off most of 'em.
Naw, I am not retired, but have about said all I care to say to the
fatsos or the ethnics.
Besides, if we see an Asian or Black guy we
want, WE PLEDGE HIM, make him a frater, we do not get all puffed
up about "culture." But like I said to Mark Fite five years ago, TKE
ought to be reviving 15 chapters a year. Hasn't happened, and I
don't know why. The old Erik used to raise hell about these things, but I am just too tired. But not re-tired. YITB, Uncle E

Oh yeah, this guy is SO FAR ABOVE ANYONE ELSE on this site.

Being in poor health and having no legs does not give anyone the right to say half the things he's said to the 'fatsos' and 'ethnics'.

Shouldn't you know more since you are an alum of the school and an alum of one of the sororities?

kddani 01-02-2006 07:56 PM

Not sure what else can be said. CMU has been on break, like most schools. We know several groups are presenting. What more is there to know?

I was thinking the same thing........

seussN10 02-02-2006 09:00 AM

The selection process is over. :) It was exciting process for everyone involved. Four groups came to present on campus, Alpha Phi, Alpha Chi Omega, Delta Zeta and Pi Beta Phi. It was a hard choice to make between four great organizations. Each of the four organizations did a great job presenting. Zeta Psi Sigma has chosen to affiliate with Alpha Chi Omega. :)

I had to wait until it was officially announced somewhere before posting.

kddani 02-02-2006 09:04 AM

Congratulations AXO! And welcome to Pittsburgh!

AXOAlum, I think you need to make a road trip up here ;)

AOIIalum 02-02-2006 09:16 AM

Congratulations to CMU, Zeta Psi Sigma and Alpha Chi Omega!

Notice how she hasn't posted yet, but has posted in all kinds of other threads.

AXO is just such a HORRIBLE organization, how could CMU ever pick them when they are just not elite enough?

What's wrong with AXO? They have lots of Ivy and tier one school chapters. I think it's wonderful.

Lil' Hannah 02-02-2006 11:22 AM

Nothing is wrong with them.

Because you thought Pi Phi was the best fit for CMU and you went on and on and on and on AND ON about it. You didn't say anything of the sort about AXO.

I won't even touch your second sentence except to say

At any rate, congrats AXO and CMU!
