I was appalled when I heard about this on the morning news. I'm sorry, I'm glad DCFS and the police are investigating. I'm tired of celebs "getting off" (ie. getting fines, slap on the wrist, etc... not a full out punishment that you or I would get). Seriously, just because they are celebs doesn't mean they are immune to the law. She broke the law plain and simple and she needs to be punished for it. I have absolutely no sympathy for her. I feel for Sean because he didn't chose to be born to a mother who is young, immature and stupid.

This is strictly how I feel. I'm not telling anyone to agree with me. I just think she was being a dumbass.

From what I had read, they were at Disneyland and a photographer was harrassing them and wouldn't leave them alone and went so far as to push/assault/whatever you want to call it Disneyland employees that were trying to get him to back off of the group and it upset the kids and stuff. He's the one who just turned up dead this week.

Britney is now sporting big hair Jessica-Simpson style. She was just in a commercial for a special Good Morning America concert for the first Mardi Gras post-Katrina.

And she had this fake Southern accent.

I loved the article. And in it she says she made a mistake and it also says that she's not complaining cause she is blessed. But the papparazzi follow her whether she's being trashy or not. It'd be kinda hard on all of us if their were photog's following our every move. We wouldn't look so hot either.

She certainly wasn't complaining about all the photographers who kept her on the pages of People and US Weekly when she was sitting at home doing nothing.

She needs the $$$ and publicity since she's not really doing anything and Kfed sure isn't bringing home any bacon (but boy is he spending it).

It's a shame. I certainly don't think she's talented from a vocal standpoint, but she was entertaining and her music was fun. However, she banked on her looks and sexiness for most of her career. Now that she's a mother (and not just a regular momma, but an in-your-face-here's-my-kid sorta mother), let her belly hang out in a tacky manner during her pregnancy, and is married to one of the trashiest guys possible, it's going to be hard for her to market herself as sexy again. So she's really not left with anything.

I think the husband is going to pose more of a problem for her than the kid.

I mean, look at Madonna - obviously having a kid, then going back to your pre-pregnancy body/sexual appeal isn't impossible (given you can afford a personal chef, pilates trainer, full time nanny, etc.)



PS - is anyone else wondering why she needs a nanny on the scene with her? She's NOT DOING ANYTHING. I mean, if you're working full time, go for it. Have the nanny. But you're on vacation in Hawaii.

Hmmmm I wonder if that's why she pulled the stunt w/ her kid on her lap and was all smiling about it.

Maybe she was thinking "yay I'm like going to be in all the totally cool magazines and like everone will want to interview me so that will like give me money!"

This morning I heard a story on the radio that while in a real uppity restaurant with S.P, she busted out the diaper bag (at the TABLE) and changed him there.

Britney Sculpture of Birth Causes Stir

NEW YORK -- Britney Spears will soon be giving birth again — in Brooklyn, as a sexy sculpture that has drawn thousands of hate e-mails.

The life-size pop princess is naked and pregnant, crouching face-down on a bare-toothed bear rug as the baby's head appears on the opposite end.

Can you imagine what that sculpture would look like if he DIDN'T like Britney?! Eeeeewwwwwww!

Also, couldn't those pro-life kids find a less icky/disturbing/weirdo way to get their point across? Like...flyers? Or...something? Making a sculpture of "Britney" in a weirdo position (I think it would be impossible to give birth like that) with a baby's head coming out of her girly parts makes me not want to be pro-life. The bearskin rug makes me not want to be pro-life; it also makes me want to run away screaming.

I'm all for art, but goodness, this is terrifying. If walking barefoot in gas station bathrooms and marrying KFed didn't destroy her sex symbol status, this monstrosity will.

Britney said in People a few weeks ago that she is going back to the studio and that she is board with current status of pop music. A reader wrote in and asked what about Kelly, Beyonce and Gwen and said they all sound better than her! I LMAO on that one!

Also with Pink back and Christina in the next few months, Britney may become a has been if she don't go back into the studio soon.
