They were tweaking the friends' birthday thing again this morning because when I went to click on "View All My Friends"...I couldn't get past Page One. When I clicked "Next" or "Page 2" all I got was:

I am so not kidding. It looked like that too.

Ok, how can I make my profile friends only? I can't find the option and I've looked everywhere. Do I have to claim to be 14 or something?

Too many of my students are on myspace, and I don't like that. So I want to make my profile private.

Yeah make yo-self 14 so people don't be creepin up on your page. I noticed on my page that there were one too many views. Too many friend request from people I didn't know, and too many messages from girls who wanted me to see their boobies. Which I was all for, except they asked for money in return. So, I changed it up and now I only get a few hits per day. Quality hits too, where I always get a comment!

What's up with these weird ass myspace women? My fake male myspace identity keeps getting messages like "Hi I'm using my friend's account to write to you..." Are they hawking porn or are they wanna-be future mail-order brides? WTF?

You'd think it'd be the other way around, girls getting weird messages from strange dudes, but it seems to be the opposite. All my guy friends who are on there have a bazillion friends but they don't even know 99% of them...they're just girls who've added them.

And I just have to ask...do you really have a fake male MySpace identity? Because if you do, that's hilarious. :p

My little sister is a senior in high school and she stopped using myspace because she started getting a lot of friend requests and creepy messages from guys she didn't know that lived in her area. You have to wonder how many girls would actually respond, and how desperate those guys must be!

Ok, seriously. Myspace is about to piss me off royally!!!!! I'm so tired of this "log-in has been temporarily disabled" and all other manner of screw-ups with the site. It's getting ridiculous.

Also, why am I getting the message "this user's profile is temporarily disabled while we perform maintenance" for stuff trying to send an e-mail!!!

Myspace harbors some seriously creepy characters. My boyfriend has a page, but it's pretty much empty except very basic info and a couple pictures. He doesn't say oh i'm looking to meet people or looking for some fun, but he is constantly getting messages from random girls wanting to hook up, and got a number from this person that ran a group sex group or something and wanted him to join... freaky stuff.

My b/f gets the same things and his profile clearly states he has a woman that he adores and is in love with. Not only that almost every picture he has on there has us in it. I don't get it. There are definitely some creepy people out there.

Same thing happens to me. Tell him to change his profile age to 14, and his profile will be private. Only his friends and those 14 years old will be able to view his profile.

When I first started on MySpace in 2003, I kept on getting messages from people in Malaysia. That was weird.

And regarding NPC sorority groups. Don't know if you heard about the hoo-hah with the Tri Delta groups. I don't know if these chick moderators know anything about moderating -- they let any ole person (male and female) into their group. Check out the Tri Delta groups when you have time -- half their members have boobs the size of volleyballs on their chest. It's pretty safe to say that these hoez aren't members at all. Just spammers with webcams.

From what my gal Rose has told me, luckily their EO's already been notified and they're not too happy about it. :eek:

Yeah, EO is none to happy about the situation. They've received a bunch of emails about the situation. I don't think the moderators have a clue what they are doing. Good thing nothing is ever posted over there.

I'm 14 on myspace now, too. What is scary is that half my students are NOT 14, are claiming to be 14 or 16 to get a profile and are posting picture with them half naked on myspace. I'm debating about reporting some of them, cause they are just out of control.

MJ's had to change membership to 'Private' since creating the group because of all the spam that found its way to the community.

The AGD group's Private as well, and Melissa, and while it's not difficult to get in, it's a no-brainer to have 'AGD' somewhere on your profile.

Most NPC groups have similar requirements...it's a shame that the Tri Delta ones (I'm shocked that BOTH are like that!) aren't closely monitored. It's as if Tasha Tri-Delt, member of your sorority for 3 weeks, decided one day to create the group because she thought it was 'cool' and then proceeded not to pay any attention to it.

On a final note, this chick probably took perping lessons from 'she who shall not be named'. She claims to be a Tri-Delt at the same campus my friend Rose pledged...was asked to take down the Tri Delta reference but refused.

It's the first time I saw someone claiming to be an XYZ because of an SNL skit. Good one.

I also love it when you can't see bulletins, or your friends, or whether you have mail or not. But I'm addicted...
