I don't want to say anything that might be taken wrong by anyone so I'm just going to say that I have a pretty good feeling that she got Rodeo.

And I have to agree with everyone else. A small chapter just means that you will have a MUCH easier time remembering everyone's name. There will be more opportunities for leadership, closer friends, and wonderful things.

I joined what was considered the "bottom tiered" sorority at my school (no longer there) but I could never have joined the "top tiered" ones. They were WAY too fake for me......

I loved my time in the chapter and I've loved my time as an alumna. And take it from a member of a "non southern" sorority, there will ALWAYS be people who will look down on another group for one reason or another.........

ALPHA PHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had so much fun tonight and there are SO MANY wonderful girls at the Omega chapter of A-Phi here! AND guess what??? I found out that some other girls post on gc, too (one girl mentioned that she had gotten a rec here, which is very awesome!). I know that some UT A-Phi's use gc, so I would rather not say who I am. But I am SO SO SO glad that I went through rush and received a bid from A-Phi. They are all so like me and I cannot tell yall how excited I am that they offered me a bid :) Also, I want yall to know that I DO NOT think of this sorority as being on any "tier status", if that makes sense. To me, these girls are ALL #1 on so many levels.

To any PNMs who are reading this - please please please do not listen to other's opinions of your campus's sororities during rush. Do what is best for YOU. I did, and I am already so happy with my choice. It was the best thing for me, and I based it on that and not the "tent talk" that went around. FYI - the other sorority that I attended on pref night was supposedly a "top six" at UT. They were wonderful people, but just not where I knew I should be. So I followed my heart, and I am insanely glad that I did.

Alright yall...sorry to ramble on. I'm tired and about to go to bed, but I wanted to update everyone :)

Omega chapter is amazing. My little sister grew up in Dallas and her mom, aunt, and grandma were all Alpha Phis at UT-Austin. It was like sacrilege that she didn't go there, but since her mom saw there was an A Phi chapter at Florida Tech, she said it was ok. ;)

Awesome. I wondered if you were talking about Alpha Phi pages ago with all that tier status talk. From my limited knowledge I knew that Omega had improved rushing strength tremendously over the last couple of years but I also know that the tier system at a school like Texas can be a little... shall we say inflexible.

Wow, yall seriously almost made me cry! It is really nice to hear how strong the sisterhood is and how much my ignoring what others said meant to everyone.
