Thought last night was a decent episode. However,
Charla & Mirna have got to go!!!! Did anyone see the previews for next week? I think Charla is begining to get just as annoying as Mirna.

I think the final three will be Chip & Kim, Kami & Karli (just because of sheer luck that has got them this far) and Colin & Christie. I can see something happening to the dating models and they don't seem to have the perserverance that everyone else does!

I like Chip and Kim more each week. Mirna actually did a Roadblock! I agree, she really did step it up this week. I am bummed the pizza brothers got eliminated the way they did. Still fond of the twins. I like Christie and I like Nicole, but Colin and Brandon annoy me no end.

I'm rooting for Chip and Kim. They really seem to be appreciative about this amazing opportunity they have to travel around the world while still staying competitive. Plus, they're not as vicious and mean spirited as some of the other teams, which may cost them later.

I like Christie and Colin, but there are times that he really bugs me.

I have to agree with all of this. The think with Kami and Karli was just a bad start, and he and his wife have become my current faves, followed by Christie and Colin. Somehow, he freaks me out a little less than Brandon and Nicole, but of course that may change.

While Mirna was whining about everything, especially about Marshall and Lance and how disgusting they were, the guys were just pretty classy last night. One was in pain, and the other had to step it up because of it, but they didn't really seem to complain that much (or at least it was edited out!).

ROTFL at Mirna and the goats! If I'd been thinking, I would have tried to go for the tiniest ones that were just kind of laying around, not the goat equivalent of Mirna that would stay when you want it to go and go when you wanted it to stay put. Charla, OTOH, rocked the house last night. She really tries to stay positive.

*So* happy that the moms made it. I still am not ready to root for them, but they're winning me over...

I am cheering for Chip and Kim too! I was losing it over Charla freaking about the goats and sheep jumping out of the boat!

We had a party at our house. No more of Mirna's delusional whining or her telling Charla at Roadblocks "I can't do that, I'm scared, you're going to have to do it."

Actually, I'm sorry about Charla -- I liked her and have wished all along she could change partners mid-show. But no tears at all over Mirna leaving.

Okay, I am sad that Charla and Mirna lost and I really almost starting crying when PHIL STARTED CRYING!!! Then again, I am sure Mirna was thinking "there, there hot Phil--what can I do to make it all better??"
But I am off the Christie and Colin bandwagon and on to Chip and Kim. They just seem to get so excited about everything!

i think they should have balanced out the physical activities and road blocks to help out charla more. she has proven she can do anything that people over 5 foot tall can. how about a change and have the other teams do something that charla can do in her sleep and that the other teams can't do so easily? :( too late now

I'd still rather see Colin & Christie (as of now) than the twins, though next ep will probably change that... Loving Chip & Kim, however. I think they're my #1 picks right now.

I *still* love the twins (I don't care if I'm in the minority :p), and Chip & Kim have become my other favorite team. I can't stand Colin & Christie or the Bowling Moms, and I'm *meh* on Brandon & Nicole (but she was getting a little too whiny during the Detour for me to handle :rolleyes: )

I'm hoping C&C go home the next elimination round, which with my luck won't be next week. :mad:

It's sooo funny that no one seems to like Brandon and his girlfriend. I'm a little hurt that Charla and Mirna got eliminated simply because I LOVED Charla. That girl was bout it for real. She did pretty much EVERYTHING while irratating Mirna complained. They were a smart team though, and if you could be robbed on this show (which you really cant be) I would say they were robbed. The twins and the bowling moms should have been eliminated before "Mirna and Smirna" ;) I must give the bowling moms credit though, even though their game isnt interesting to watch you HAVE to give them credit simply for making it through a non-elimination round two episodes ago and are STILL not eliminated. The bowling moms and the twins have some serious luck going on. And can I also say that I lost A LOT of respect for Colin after that eating competition. He is a STRONG player, probably the best in this whole competition, I was so disappointed when he was crying like a baby. And like everyone else, I am officially on the Chip and Kim bandwagon. I honestly thought they would be one of the first four teams eliminated. FINALLY, they stopped making dumb mistakes. I really respected how they took time out to chill with the family that they delivered the chairs too. I've become impressed with their game AND Chip really redeemed himself when he helped the twins in the last leg of the race, even though I wouldnt have. So, I hope Chip and Kim win, but my favorites ALWAYS come in second too. Besides Colin and Christie are a true force to be reckoned with. Question - Why hasnt anyone else used a Fast Forward? Do they only show up on particulary parts of the race and not every leg anymore?

Right. There are only two Fast Forwards the entire race now. Colin and Christie used the first one in Cairo, and he second one hasn't come up yet.

So who do you all think will go for the fast forward, and who do you think will actually do the task associated with it? :D


And I'm so glad this was a NEL....I was so mad at the twin who told their cab driver to follow Brandon and Nicole's cab :mad:

I wish the twins had been Philiminated today. They're not really very cool.

Doesn't anybody else think that Colin is a gigantic asshole? He is so obnoxious to Christie and she always ends up blaming herself for getting upset with him. Dude, I'd be upset with someone who acted like him too. You just don't talk like that to the police -- he seems to think that if he throws a big enough temper tantrum, he'll get whatever he wants. I hope that doesn't continue to work for him and I also hope that Chip and Kim kick his butt.

I think Brandon is a total jerk. His made himself out to be the "dirty American" when he refused to pay the $100. Yeah, the guy had a bad tire, yea the guy was driving for 2 hours without a good spare, yea the guy had to borrow a tire from another team, but keep in mind that they are in a foreign country. If the cops become involved you can end up in a very bad place for a very long time and you may not have an embassy near by to help you out. I really wanted him to lose, but alas, he and Nicole came in first.

It's too bad they don't have worldwide domestic abuse hotlines. If Christie stays w/ Colin, the verbal beating will become physical like night follows day. If you're in the middle of that situation, your self esteem is so erroded you can't see it - but to the rest of the planet it's obvious.

Christie would have been better off letting Colin rot in a Tanzinian jail and quitting the race.

Colin & Christie-- would serve him right.

Kami & Karli-- lots of hair to lose, but they're still cute and would probably be cute even bald, so no biggie.

Karen & Linda-- they just wouldn't look nearly as cool if they had to go bald.

Brandon & Nicole-- it'd suck, because they're models, and because Brandon needs all that hair to distract from his scrawny neck.

Chip & Kim-- I'd hate to see Kim lose her hair, but Chip would have NOTHING TO LOSE!!! :D
