Congratulations to all three groups!
|
Good luck to all three! I can't wait to find out who is chosen... Again, congrats!
|
Congratulations to all three groups! Any one of them would/will be an excellent choice for FSU.
I must say, though, I am sad for our Tally alums (all 107 of them, BTW) who were really excited about this possibility. We have a founder of our chapter at FSU getting her Order of the Diamond pin (75 years) in a couple of weeks at Founders Day, and everyone was hoping that we'd be in the presentation mix, if only for her! Oh, well ... onward!! Best of luck to AOPi, SK and SDT (and to the women of Gamma Lambda who will hopefully find a home with one of them as part of the new colony!). |
Good luck to all three!!! They are all great groups and would have a lot to offer the FSU community!
|
Congrats! I know any of the three would be great additions to the FSU campus! I'm so proud AOII made it to the final three! That is great news!
|
I know this is moot, but most of the members of the DPhiE chapter @ Florida International Univ (FIU) in Miami are NOT Jewish. In fact, I believe most are Catholic.
(Many of my former students went to FIU & pledged DPhiE..) |
Any updates on the presentations?
|
Sigma Delta Tau is presenting this Wednesday at 530 PM.
Sigma Kappa is presenting Friday at 530 PM. Alpha Omicron Pi has withdrawn from the process. The decision will be announced on Monday. Everyone is very excited about this process and is looking forward to an excellen outcome. |
Good Luck to Both!
Good Luck to both. Both are great national groups. I am alittle biased toward Sigma Delta Tau though! But both would be great!:)
|
How come AOII withdrew from the process? Hmm. That's disappointing!
Thanks! Please keep up updated...you know how antsy we can get!!! :D |
AOPi was in consideration for the new sorority at Clemson, but one of our drawbacks against chosing them was that they were also in strong consideration to colonize at FSU and they would have to build a house there, whereas the wouldn't have to build one at Clemson. So what happened?
|
How did the presentations go? Any word yet?

Have all these groups been at FSU before, or is AOII the only group that previously had a chapter there?
|

I have a couple of friends at FSU who is an ADPi and a Zeta. They said that they are pretty sure that AOII is one of the 3 that are up to colonize. I don't know who the other 2 chapters are, but I am very excited about who they get to choose!

I think "up to colonize" meant they were one of the groups presenting and therefore could be selected to colonize. :)
