As some of you know, in reading this thread and others that I've posted in...I went to Arizona State University...

The following are all the badges at ASU in 1991 when I rushed, I know perfectly well that automatically that some are elimanated (I don't need to be told), just indulge me, there is a method to my madness...

Besides, I love each and every NPC (and NPHC) badge out there.....

this is part one since, GC wont let me post all the pictures in one post....

There is no rhyme nor reason to the placing of these badges its just in alpha order....

UofISigKap 10-16-2005 10:22 AM

[hijack] I love the badges! You really captured some gorgeous ones. [/hijack]

Congratulations!! :D

Xylochick216 10-16-2005 11:19 AM

I know Alpha Chi uses first degree when you are pinned.... Not sure who else does, though.

Of the ones that I know a little something about their ritual, everyone has different degrees!

If it is, I'll be surprised since none of the Triad uses the term "degree" (to my knowledge). But it might be a red herring intended to throw us all off the trail. ;)

tunatartare 10-16-2005 01:28 PM

Can we start guessing yet? My guess is for Sigma Sigma Sigma.

KSUViolet06 10-16-2005 01:51 PM

I'm going to also go with Sigma Sigma Sigma. We use degrees and have a membership exam.

Sistermadly 10-16-2005 03:13 PM

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Tri Sigma is my guess as well. And I almost *never* guess in these threads! :D

Yah, we sure don't.

blueangel 10-16-2005 05:31 PM

I know a secret, and I'm not telling! :D

Congrat's Ms. Gwyn! You've worked long and hard for this-- and nobody deserves to be an AI member of this very special group more than you. Congrat's! It won't be long now!

Throw AGD into the Triad that doesn't use "degree"!

trojangal 10-16-2005 05:43 PM

whistling and looking around the room

Nanana..I know something you don't know..pbbttt! I knew it before you.

Ms_Gwyn, I am so happy to see things have worked out with your group. You have earned this honor, and I know that your initiation will be a special day for you.

Lots of love from the NAM Class of 2005!

tinydancer 10-16-2005 06:25 PM

You know you are driving us crazy! But it's all good, since we know that your home is in sight! Good for you!:)

copacabana 10-16-2005 08:41 PM

Ooh I want to know!!! Who is it?!?!?

Either way, Congrats! AI sounds like a process that requires a heck of a lot of patience.

ms_gwyn 10-16-2005 10:45 PM

I am not very good at this......

2) 3 Greek Letters

3) Spring

Sister Havana 10-17-2005 09:33 AM

Ooooh....good news on the horizon!

Can't wait to hear the full story! :D

3) Spring

We were founded in April. :)

ms_gwyn 10-18-2005 05:38 AM

4) The badge is a shape/symbol

Xylochick216 10-18-2005 07:13 AM

I'm thinking it's Sigma. They have the triangle...

polarpi 10-18-2005 02:38 PM

I'll guess Sigma Sigma Sigma, since many more knowledgeable than I have already put their guess in for them as well (and I don't know much about Sigma Sigma Sigma and their new member process).

ADPi is another one I'd like to guess for - we have a membership exam (I'm not sure if AIs do, but it's part of the new member education process for the organization), we were founded in Spring (May), we're a three letter organization :D, and our pin is a shape/symbol (diamond is a shape, right ;))...the only thing throwing me off is the "degree" mention.

Either way, I can't wait to hear your happy news, ms_gwyn! :)

Jill1228 10-18-2005 02:43 PM

I will throw my hat in and guess Sigma Sigma Sigma too

ms_gwyn 10-18-2005 04:11 PM

you know....there really is no point in this..:D

am I that transparent?

anyway....I think if I had actually narrowed it down to the chapters that are no longer at ASU and if you guys have read my various threads....it would have been a no brainer....

No big surprise...I am now (yet again) a new member of the wonderful sisterhood of

Sigma Sigma Sigma

I do not have a date for initiation, but again, I am paying local dues and coninuing to work on the website....

polarpi 10-18-2005 04:28 PM

Congrats, ms_gwyn! (Obviously I didn't read all your messages very closely ;))
