Like, he kept saying things like "It doesn't bother you that I can't respond to the feelings you've stated?" and "You're not nervous at all about tomorrow?" etc. I think if he was thinking he might not pick her, he shouldn't have said those things. I mean, generally, if guys are uncomfortable with something, they aren't going to talk about it if they don't have to. If I was i the situation, I would have felt he must be okay with talking like that because he's going to be able to really reciprocate tomorrow. So I felt like him prodding her with those questions was sort of his way of trying to ease her mind that she was in. I don't know, maybe that was just me? :confused:

When I saw the show introducing all the girls, Estella stuck out for some reason and I really liked her... but this was prior to hearing her annoying voice more and more each episode... so then I was rooting for Kelly Jo, but while I was watching the finale I was like hmmm, Estella's not so bad-- she really interacted well with his family, (as did Kelly Jo) but Estella had that extra spark to her. And you could tell he wasn't picking Kelly Jo just by the way he was looking at her on their final date... he was always kissing Estella on their date before she met his parents... Kelly Jo and Bob definitely had a friend vibe going, look how he greeted her on their last date-- it was just like buddies. And I loved Estella's hairstyle (half up half down with rhinestones weaved in)!!!!!!!

I am glad he picked Estella. After watching that last show, you could really see that they "meshed" better than him and Kelly Jo. Plus, I think Kelly Jo was being over confident and I didn't like how she said she couldnt really see Bob picking Estella over her since she didnt know what Estella had that she didnt have- that was kind of rude. Estella never said anything like that.

Did all of you see how pissed Kelly Jo was when she found out she wasn't the one? I mean, I would be too I guess but none of the other girls on previous bachelor's acted like that. Oh, and how she let go of his hands and put hers behind her back?? I thought that was pretty funny.

Everyone see that before she got into the limo, when Bob was walking her back, she all of a sudden had an envelope in her hand?? I wonder what that was.

So everyone that is saying she is going to be the Bachelorette, when did they announce that? Is it 100% accurate?

I really wouldnt want to see her be the Bachelorette- I would still prefer Gwen from season 2, or even Brooke. After last night- I think Kelly Jo is pretty conceited.

I was glad to see that Bob's mom liked Estella better than Kelly Jo because she was right, Kelly Jo didnt even try to get to know her.

I just saw the after the last rose ceremony show... both Estella and Kelly Jo had some great things to say about one another.

I noticed that too and was a bit confused. Maybe it's a phone number? Seemed a bit strange to me

Now I hear that Meredith is the new Bachelorette. Guess we'll have to wait and see!

Okay, I don't think this has been discussed here before, but we decided (that is, my sister, my best friend & I) that all the girls probably have their wardrobe provided for them (clothes look too new & too good to be their own), have their hair professionally styled (come on, some of those 'dos were just TOO nice to be done by themselves), and we think their makeup is done for them too (since "TV" makeup is different from "everyday" makeup). though they show the girls primping their hair & makeup, it's just for shot variety.

Any other "viewing parties" discuss any of the above?

I thought Kelly Jo's dress was really ugly. I wonder if the woman can turn down the dress that they pick out for her to wear for the final rose ceremony if she thinks it's hideous?

TV Diva Tells All: So, Bachelor Bob finally made his pick, and Estella is "the one." But more important, the latest word on the bit of gossip I told you earlier this week--that Bob's rejectee has been cast as the next Bachelorette --is that it will be Meredith, not the presumed Kelly Jo, who stars in the next show.

Regardless, word is the "reject's" show, which airs Jan. 14, is already in production. All this is according to a reliable source who, as far as I know, has no history of mental illness or hallucinogenic drugs, but only time will tell. For now, ABC is staying mum.

I know this is off topic.... BUT

Bob's parents cabin is 5 miles from my house, my family had a cabin on the same lake till we moved into our present house, there was no point in having a cabin 5 miles from our house and farm :) It made me very happy to be going home on Wednesday to see the family :) I'm happy that the whole nation got to see my beautiful back yard :)

January 22, 2004 -- LOS ANGELES - New York Giants quarterback Jesse Palmer wants to complete a pass at love, and score the woman of his dreams on ABC's "The Bachelor," according to a broadcast report.
The TV news magazine "Extra" is set to reveal in its show tonight that the back-up Giants QB will be the next man looking for love on the popular ABC reality show.

At 6-foot-2 and 219 pounds, the friendly Palmer has thick brown hair and an endearing smile, but he might have one drawback for his female suitors - potential unemployment.

Palmer is soon to be a free agent, and his future with Big Blue - or any pro team - looks cloudy.

Palmer started the final three games of the Giants' miserable season, taking the place of injured Kerry Collins. Big Blue lost all three of Palmer's starts, ending the 2003 campaign on a horrific eight-game losing streak that cost popular coach Jim Fassel his job.

So while Palmer might be in the process of divorce from the Giants and the only pro head coach he's ever known, the 25-year-old bachelor appears ready to score at romance.

Palmer's birthday is Oct. 15, 1978, and he's one of the NFL's few Canadians - born in Toronto and growing up in the province of Ontario. He played football and attended the University of Florida before Big Blue drafted him in the fourth round in 2001.

ABC is now airing its second "Bachelorette" series and Palmer is set to be the fifth "Bachelor." Filming of Palmer's game of love has not started, and his episodes are expected to hit the airwaves this April.

I was an undergrad at UF when he was the QB and we would see him out all the time. You cannot possibly understand how F-I-N-E this guy is until you see him in person. Seriously, he sort of glows, it's weird - he is that pretty. I talked to him for maybe 10 minutes once at the Swamp and it was a surreal experience - every friggin' female in a 10 mile radius just glares at you and tries to wink at him, and he's totally oblivious.

He had a long term girlfriend when he graduated, guess that didn't work out. She looked like a supermodel, surprise, surprise. That's so cool that he's the next bachelor - I think that's a little more realistic (haha realism on reality tv) than the firestone guy.

Ladies, believe me, when you see him you will ALL be Gator fans!

Ok going back to Bachelor Bob, I read an article in UsWeekly yesterday about him and Estella. A "friend" of Bob's said he was never really interested in any of the girls and he only picked Estella because he had to pick someone.

Bob has a new girlfriend, the actress who hosted the ABC Family XYZ'd reruns of the Bachelor/ette series. Estella said something about wishing her the best of luck with Bob and thanking her for taking him off her hands.

If the bacehlor/bachelorette is not interested in anyone by the end of the show then they should just walk away. It would bet better for everyone.

Yeah...I think the character she plays is named Greenlee or something (I don't watch the ABC soaps, but I think I remember that from news blurbs and such).

Funny thing is, I remember her from when she played Michelle on Guiding Light, and that was at least back in the beginning years of college for me, so it would be about four years ago! :)

i just read this yesterday... he is dating Rebbeca Budig who plays greenlee on "all my children" they both don't deny it and admit it fully.
