aw, y'all are such sweet rush-thread addicts! yes, i am back - it took me so long because i had to stop by work...they wanted updates, too!
I GOT INVITED BACK TO COFFEE! whee!!! i'm only slightly nervous...but at this point i feel so lucky that i've been invited back to a house that i LOVE. or rather, i fell in love with along the way, but sometimes surprises are sweeter. when i first got invited back to only two houses, i wondered what the liklihood was that one of them would hang on to me until pref - now that COFFEE has, i'm not surprised...they're my home, one i never expected, but one i hope to be welcomed into tomorrow :) |

When I went through rush a few years ago, if you "maximized your choices" on your pref card (i.e. put down all the houses you went to for pref) you were guaranteed a bid for one of them. I hope its still the same way for you! I'm dying to know who Coffee is! I've been seeiing the girls all dressed up while I'm going to and from class this week - everyone looks adorable. |

ah, tonight was lovely! i've heard everyone speak of how moving preference can be, and you were all right. after such a long and tiring process, getting to this point is such a high point for both PNMs and actives. i only had one group to put on my bid card, but i signed it with confidence and pride. hopefully in the morning i won't get That Call from my gamma chi telling me i didn't receive a bid. i guess i'll be posting sometime tomorrow to tell you whether or not she called...should i assume that if i DON'T get called by a certain time that i got my bid? i would hate to think it was in the bag, only to be let down...aack, i'm nervous. i guess i'll let you know tomorrow how it goes!

i DIDN'T get a call!!! i am SO excited. the reason i didn't post until now is because i wanted to sleep late...i figured that if i woke up after 10 without being roused by my cell phone, i'd be a happy girl =) YAY!!!
