I had to bring my daughter to work with me this week Yesterday she got her hustle on at my job She drew pictures and sold them to my co-workers She made some caiche money :) She's determined to give it another try today as well She's only 6 years old Last night, she wanted to help me wash the dishes I let her wash the cups She did a pretty good job She made sure all of the cups were rinsed out well Children feel good about themselves when allowed to help out or express themselves creatively It gives them purpose |

HC I could start later but heck why wait? HC umm, I want my paychecks now, lol HC I am sooooo happy. I liked everyone that I spoke to at that school and I felt REALLY comfortable there. HC after 9 years in the Independent school system as one of very few black kids I mesh really well with the school's goals-it's a school (grades K-8) that preps Newark kids for boarding and private schools. HC been there done that (minus boarding school) HC the head of the lower school wants me to take a few classes with the kids when I can, since I am SO well acquainted with what they can expect at those schools. HC I am so PSYCHED about it HC Nikki you can not be more eww about the hairy lady than I was, lol. |
