Here's more details:

Today was the longest day of my life!!! We were supposed to meet at 4:30 but it started POURING!!!!!!! Everyone was soaked! We ended up not getting to open our bid cards until 5:45. Too much stress for me! Anyways, turns out one of my rho chi's (who is also in charge of new mem. education) is a Sigma Kappa too and 8 of our group members are now in her chapter!!! Its all sooooooooo exciting!!

So after getting to our house we were taken to a nearby hotel for dinner, but everyone was sooooooooooo exhausted that we all started leaving around 8:30. I felt bad leaving but I couldn't help it! All the meetings and things start next week. I need to find a white dress too! I have so much to say but can't think of anything! I'll post more as I remember :D :D :D :D

I have to tell you I was at a baby shower for one of my theta eta sisters UNLV and there are 3 of us that kept checking these boards to see where you went.

Yay Sam!!!!! I love thiose girls at SK and was totsly torn about whether I should go there or Tri Delt!! Congrats!! You have some great pledge sisters too. My friend from my rush group went SK too, Kirsten. Have fun and I'll see you around!!

I'm sure there are plenty of U of A alumnae on this thread, and I probably speak for all of us when I say how utterly AMAZING it's been reading about your Recruitment experience.

Memories have come flooding back, from set one day one all the way through to Graduation four years later. All the friends I made, everything I learned both in class and out, it's overwhelming to think about it all at once. Thank you for bringing it all back!

Finally, I have three words for you: savor every moment. Schmaltzy as it sounds, the memories will last a lifetime!

I just want to say thanks to all of you for helping me out and keeping me going! You all are so enthusiastic! Now, what I need you to do is come do my homework for the next semester because I don't think I'm gonna have time......that'd be great thanks! just kidding-thanks again for everything!
I forgot to mention the cute Bid Day shirts! They went with a tiffany's and co. theme. Memebers had greenish shirts and were called the 'classics' collection while ours are black and we are called the 'new fall collection.' Sooooooooo cute!

I feel kind of bad that when you went to my house you didn't meet a lot of girls. I was actually initiated at University of Arizona. I'm truly impressed though that a sister was able to carry a conversation on with 5 girls at once. That shows talent and class.
