DZ left U. Of Northern CO in 1956. You can find the current chapters at UNC at the beginning of this thread.

DZ is open. Just an accidental slip of the finger during posting by our hard-working thread monitor shadowkat.

You are right! After checking the UNCO website, DZ is still an active chapter. I was deferring to the chapter listing that is still posted. Thanks for the update!

The same thing happened for KD at San Jose State, and we're left off the list altogether at Old Dominion.

I figured it was an oops, but with the low recruitment numbers this year I wouldn’t have been surprised. I knew they would have had a new close date if that were the case bc they were active when I was a student at UNC.

It appears that EIU has gone to a partially structured format this year? There were open house rounds similar to what happens during informal recruitment, then two pref nights. Is this something that other campuses are doing? It seems odd to me.

Holy cow! I went to school in the Northeast, and total at my school was 80. I can't imagine how long initiation would take with 190 candidates.

Not that long when you have several "stations" or "pairs" going at one time.

I just looked at UW Panhel website, yes this was their primary recruitment. I believe the chapter houses sleep like 90, so these low NM numbers could be causing some financial issues.

Yes this was primary recruitment. Registration numbers were significantly lower than normal and a large number of women withdrew after attending preference parties. This will drop total from 130 to just over 100. Since dorm contracts are for the full school year, even for chapters that can COB it's unlikely to help with their empty beds. Keep your UW housing corporations in your thoughts, they're in for a bumpy year.
