I was doing some reseach on Bowling Green State University for another project and I have a couple of correstions on dates for their sororities:
Delta Gamma - never closed or reorganized
Chi Omega - never closed or reorganized
Alpha Omicron Pi was chartered Spring 1989, not 1985 (they were after Pi Beta Phi)
Kappa Delta - closed temporarily in 2005 and immediately began recruiting a new group of members. The new members were initiated in 2006
Phi Mu - closed temporarily in 1967 and reorganized in 1968

Quota this year at Kansas State was 34. Over 700 girls went through recruitment, but lots dropped out. (It ended up being totally virtual.) All but 2 or 3 houses are doing COB.

Sonoma State (CA) there were 96 PNMs registered for recruitment, but the day before recruitment started, the University announced that Spring 2021 semseter would be all on-line. Only 71 PNMs actually participated, with 68 receiving bids. Quota was 9. Hopefully the CPC will lower total to a reasonable number, even though NPC wants totals set to extremely high numbers.

Interesting...will groups recruit in the Spring? Will this minimal influx of membership kill off the weakest chapters?

Well, I hope not. I hope to get Total lowered to a reasonable level. I would imagine most chapters are having attrition issues. I hope this campus will be like Eastern Ill, and just have all chapters have much smaller sizes.

In May, when I heard of NPC's request to keep Total at last fall's level, I was VERY surprised. NPC went from encouraging parity on collegiate campuses to Every org for itself!

Not to derail this thread, but it makes me hope that the groups at Sonoma have enough frosh/soph members to hang in there. If a group was heavy with seniors who will graduate and then hardly any new members, it could be tough to have a rewarding experience even after COVID. Could lead to a lot of drops.
