I must have said this before, but Jell-O Pudding Pops!!! And Vienetta. I went looking for it the other day in the grocery store only to find that they don't make it!

The triple thick milkshakes are gross!

I also miss Burger King's old fries from forever ago.

I miss Charleston Chew and Whoppers. I loved candy as a kid. Lite Brite was a great toy that my cousin's had and I wanted. Colecovision was fun also.

Eat more chikin!

Me too.:(

Also Ben & Jerry's Apple Crumble™. It was the best non-chocolate flavor EVER.

KSigkid 08-11-2004 07:07 PM

Chic Fil-a is good stuff, although I'm glad I don't have the temptation of it around me.

I wish there was a Sonic around here as well.

Popsicle (TM) brand now sells Jell-o Pudding Pops, in Chocolate, Vanilla and Swirl. Sadly, they are standard "Popsicle" shape, not wider, like the old pudding pops. They also taste different, the chocolate ones taste like a plain old Fudgesicle, but the swirl ones are not that bad. They carry them at Publix, I don't know if you have those in your locale. You can give it a try, but if you're like me, you might be disappointed with the remake :p They get an A for effort, at least they tried to bring them back!

I miss Garden Botanika stores. I know I can order off the Internet and go to *select* Nordstroms but it's not the same! :( Also, they don't have a Nordstroms here in Greenville, SC. The closest ones are in Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC, which are both 2 hours away! :(

OMG. Please don't tell me this. Of course, mention of it has only given me a craving for it.

CatStarESP4 08-12-2004 02:02 AM

I can't believe the Gap discontinued the Loose Fit jeans. I loved those jeans!

It's not fair that they show those commercials when there aren't any around.

I used to think the same thing about Quizno's commercials until they started two shops in the city.

does anyone remmeber that for a while in the early 90's Hershey's had a mint chocolate bar??! ohhhhh it was so good! :(

And I am glad they brought Boo Berry back, cause for a long time you couldn't find it anywhere.

Also I doubt anyone knows what I am talking about but way back in the late 80's, when I was little, I collected Sylvanian Families. THey were cute little fuzzy animal figures, you could buy a whole family's worth and they had all types of animals. I had a TON of them. Am I the only one who remembers these?

And no one has mentioned My Buddy or Kid Sister! I am surprised.

Kevin 08-13-2004 11:17 AM

Pogo balls

One time, me and my mother found this Aussie conditioner at this Drug Emporium, it was specially formulated to make red hair brighter. I think it may have had some dye in it, the conditioner itself was red. And it made my hair sor vibrant, people would ALWAYS comment on my hair. I lOVED it, and we bought all they had left, but I've never seen it again. :( I'd pay FULL PRICE for it, that's how good it was, and I don't pay full price for ANYthing.

Jill1228 08-13-2004 12:26 PM

Bit-O-Honey (I have not seen them out here in the Pac NW)
Chic Fil A (ditto about the Pac NW)
Hypercolor shirts
Ben & Jerry's Wavy Gravy ice cream

Agreed! And whatever happened to Koala Yummies?!

(Apologies if someone already brought those up!)

Sister Havana 08-13-2004 02:06 PM

Honey Roasted Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. I recently found some of these in a Big Lots in Springfield. :)

I never had a My Buddy or Kid Sister, but I did have several My Friend dolls...My Friend Mandy, My Friend Jenny, My Friend Becky.

No.... I remember these. I had a few bear familes and some other animal that was grey.
I also had at least one if not more of the following: star wars figurines, My Little Ponies, Glo-worms, care bears, pound puppies, cabbage patch kids, Dotty-Dog skating puppy, barbies, strawberry shortcake and friends, herself the elf and friends, transformers, popples, popbeads, wonder woman underoos.....

In detroit, they don't have my favorite chips: Ketchup chips and my favorite chocolate: Bounty.

swissmiss04 08-17-2004 10:25 AM

The Greek Pita at Wendy's. I was craving one the other day.

Jill1228 08-17-2004 12:48 PM

Just take a quick trip across the river to Windsor for Ketchup chips

I miss Orbit gum. I bought a bunch on my trip, but they don't sell it around here. :(

Also miss Pineapple Crush, which is only sold in Newfoundland.

1. Gap's "Grass" (I know it was mentioned earlier)

2. Glow Worm, Glow Baby and I think there's another Glow thing...

3. Those note pad things where you erase what you've written/drawn by lifting the page up.

That's it for now...more later

Let's swap...I'll send you some Orbit gum if you send me some Citrus Trident. (I loooove that stuff but they don't sell that flavor in the US. Whenever I go to Canada I stock up!) :D

I see Pineapple Crush from time to time here but not a whole lot. They make Pineapple Fanta too but I have only found it a couple times. There are all sorts of great Fanta flavors you can get in England that you can't get here.

I almost forgot about these! I loved the orange ones. :)

Life Savers Holes rocked.

Anyone remember the Wendy's Super Bar? It had the salad bar, Mexican bar and pasta bar and it was all you can eat for $5 or so? I wish that would come back.

Sister Havana 08-30-2004 12:19 AM

The Beloit mindset list made me think about Apple Slice and 7-Up Gold. Drank and loved both of them. I miss lemon-lime Slice too. Sierra Mist is not the same!
