Let's seeeee what's in the news today???...quite a race for the prez' cup...here's to the sens, steady the course and you'll show these high-rollers what a model of efficacy is all about. http://www.nhl.com/hockeyu/history/cup/cup.html Come back to your true home....preeciousssssss. And oh yeah, stevie y might have been born in cranbrook, but he developed his talent playing in ottawa. |

GO JOE!!!! Anyway, did anyone see that hideous Wings-Blues game? I swear Brent Hull makes me sick. He was scoring half of the points. It is teams like the Redwings who make hockey almost unwatchable. I'm always glad when they have to play the Avalanche(my team) because usually they put them in their place. |

p.s. if any of you ladies wanna get in on the same bet that Can. Teke and I got going, you're more than welcome. Nothing's hotter than some chicks willing to put it on the line for their team ;) |

I would like to say regrdless of my intoxication level (which is high) that the Toronto Maple Leafs are gonna win everything. You all know it, don't fight it, the Leafs rule and everyone else drools!!

wth, joe is the only reason i started watching hockey back in 1993. . . well, i went to a quebec nordique game with some friends and joe took his helmet off to fight someone. . .i like violence. . . why don't you stay out of my posts? i wasn't talking to you anyway. |

I'm just giving credit to where it's due, that t.o.-philly matchup will be awesome...some teams are really tearing it up down the stretch, and they're (philly) one of them. T.B.'s looking solid too, so i'm hoping nj has a traditional playoff slump and goes out in the first round...thereby, leaving ottawa with the easiest road to the east finals. |
This is shaping up to be one of the better playoff runs---there is hardly a team going in that doesn't look solid. I see alot of 7 game series'.

When i saw chara holding his wrist as he went to the bench i thought for sure he had broken it. That would have been a major loss to the senz. i hope T.O. and Ott meet up in the eastern conference finals, guarenteeing a Canadian Team in the cup finals.

also, did anyone hear the good news? The world cup (former canada cup) is coming back in 04, hasn't been around since '96 when the states beat us in the final game in montreal. More european cities will host some games, with the final being only one game (instead of a best of 3) to be played in t.o. European Pool Czech Republic Finland Germany Sweden North American Pool Canada Russia Slovakia United States |
I saw that this morning on Sportsdesk. The best part of it is NO SHOOTOUTS!!!!!! It will all be settled by sudden death overtimes.

If Ottawa can avoid toronto, they should take the east...their style is succesful vs philly & nj.
They should shutout the isles, all the stats are in their favour - one more so than anyother - a 21-2-7 record vs the isles in their last 30 games. The west is a lot less predictable...but my tentative prediction is dal-colorado in the final. |

Secondly, I'm pretty sure the Leafs won tonight. And....doggonit, I can't remember how the Sens did tonight. Can you remind me??? I'd send my condolences but I'm too busy celebrating down here.... :D |

I'm sure someone will send the Leafs a postcard from the Cup Finals  |

Besides, the Leafs ARE going to win. |

Wings are going to repeat; Leafs will have to deal with another disappointemnt...it's something their good at. |
