who watched the last couple of episdoes? i liked the one when Marco and Dylan went out on the date......it was sad though to see how Marco's father acted when talking about homosexuals though

and then this week was when Ashley, Spinner, and Paige skipped school. the highlight of the episode was when Emma kneed that girl in the face. and it's good to see that Mr Simpson isn't going to die from cancer. :)

what i hate though is now the next episode wont be on for another 2 weeks......they did this a couple of weeks ago.

i agree, Emma is starting to look prettier

and the abortion episode is supposed to be shown.....i don't know when though. but you can tell in the episode where JT has the commercial party and wants to invite Manny and you see her moping around the school and they talk about "the situation." i hate how they show things out of order

Accidents Will Happen. It's an hour long episode possibly split into two parts. i'm curious to see it as well, although i'll probably just wait until the n airs it.

I can't seem to find Degrassi on my TV channels at all! I used to watch it when I was younger and loved it. I guess I could resort to DLing episodes, but I'd rather watch it on TV!

Noggin/the-n shows Degrassi......it's part of extended cable. i get it through my digital cable box

i went on bear share and put in accidents will happen part one and accidents will happen part two and they came out really good..i watched them and they were really good..very interesting tho..and it also fills the peices in the other episodes

ok, I'm a little bit mad. I was watching the newest episode of degrassi (the one where sean lives by himslef and jt asks manny to the dance) and then the previews for next week's episode came on, and its the season finale at the dance. So I'm guessing its been decided NOT to show "accidents will happen" in the US. I tried to download it on bearshare but my computer's being dumb and it won't let me. Is there any other place I can get it???

I still don't like Manny, and I can't wait to get my shirt made. Kandy36, how did yours come out??

I've always loved Manny. I hate that they are making her out to be a "scarlet woman" (that was for my HP fans). I always thought she was sweet.

Maybe they'll show the episode after the season is over. You know how they love to show episodes out of order.

I just found this thread and came over to join the support group. I may be older than everyone here, but I love the show! I pretty much agree with everything said so far about TNG. I never had the pleasure of watching the old Degrassi shows. :( Oh well. TNG does just fine for me.

I went to the Noggin website and looked at the Degrassi episode listing. "Accidents Will Happen" is not listed. :( Therefore, I will have to download it. I really want to see it. I don't like how Manny became a ho. The visible underwear thing was a hot mess.

The season finale was kind of lame. I expected more. I hope that next season gets better. The Sean-Ellie relationship is not cool to me. Sean is creepy. I also agree that Liberty needs to get a life. She doesn't have to be so annoying. I hate that they are making her character like that. I mean, I guess it's realistic because there are people like her and Manny in schools everywhere, but come on! Liberty needs to grow up.

I want to see a TNG marathon because I haven't seen all the episodes. I want to see the show from the beginning so that I can feel totally connected.

that's the truth! most of the characters have moved on, and shes still the PNA (pain in the @ss, for those who dont know) of the show. she's nerdy in a bad way. and it doesnt look like she's aged with the other characters. lose the baby fat, but keep the funky glasses. do something. emma looks weird. paige is u-g-l-y! and ashley needs to get a grip. kudos for marco coming out, but plz dont make him the token gay guy of the show.

more kudos for terri's plus-sized character. she needs more lines in the show, but not as a battered teen from a loser bf. come on!

HC Spinner is the WORST actor on that show? he always has me ctfu!

Degrassi is always good fodder with my 7th grade students... except when i have to cut off their printing priveleges for cassie steele pics!

and id also like to see the old Degrassi series...like how saved by the bell had their series from jhs (my favorites!) all the way to the (dismal, corny as hell, shortlived) college years. and who could forget the SBTB movies?

When is Terri going to get out of the hospital? Did I miss her release? If not, again I ask, when is she going to get out of the hospital? How long are they going to drag that out?

i wonder if they will even show that since she's not listed in the cast for next season.

I don't know what she's supposed to be out of the hospital but I heard she's not going to be a regular next season. Supposedly, after her "accident" with Rick, she's going to move away b/c her dad doesn't want anything else to happenwith Rick around. So she'll be back to do guest appearances on special occasions to visit her old frineds.

Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High are available on VHS on Amazon, but they aren't cheap. Also, there's a listing on eBay for Degrassi Junior High

I just saw it last night, and I agree with you guys... it was disappointing. I'm also pi$$ed that they aren't going to show "Accidents Will Happen." And I was looking on www.the-n.com at the episode list... Did anyone else notice that this season was way shorter than any of the previous ones?

I agree, the season was super short. They made such a huge deal about it and it didn't live up to it. It would've been better if they showed "accidents will happen" b/c the rest of the episodes would have made sense.
The new season starts in October, let's hope it'll be better.

There's a Degrassi Season 1 DVD to be released soon, according to Amazon, but it doesn't say if it's Degrassi Jr. High, Degrassi High, or new Degrassi.

I'm holding out hope for one of the earlier shows. :D

I know there's a Season 1 DVD coming out in September for the new generation. I checked for it (can't remember the website) but it was too pricey, especially for degrassi.

The season started a couple of weeks ago up here - so far it looks pretty good.

I thought it was a really good episode. It's probably one of my favorite ones. I liked how it was realistic and showed that things don't always end perfectly.

I saw it. It was great...love the new looks. I'm just pissed that I'm actually here to see it.

I really liked it as well. Dean was a jerk. I'm glad Paige stood up to him.

Why the hell is Mannie so in love with Craig? He is such a loser. :rolleyes:

Why won't they let Liberty have a man? The one guy that she does get (if it's true), they just so happened to break up over the summer. (How convenient!) Now that she is pushing up on Chris, Emma can't handle it and Mannie is pushing her up. HELLO!!! Mannie, YOU are chasing someone else's man your own self so you should know how Liberty feels!! Besides, Emma and Chris are broken up. let the girl have something.

Also, about the Accidents Happen episodes....I got really emotional when Manny told Craig she was going through with it. That's one of the deepest scenes I've ever seen from Degrassi.....

I agree. I had heard that there was going to be a new theme song, but I didn't realize that it was just going to be the same song sung differently and with different music.

Exactly! She hit puberty and then freaks out. Why in the world would she do that to Liberty? That's just wrong. But I doubt the friendship with Paige would last long.

ETA: I forget which episode it was, but did anyone see Emma get in a fight with Alex?
