Hmmm...I am underwhelmed by the singers...totally. Singing anything from Les Mis has to be the ultimate pageant cliche. One of my friends is a Miss America volunteer and I texted that to her. No reply :rolleyes:

Bollywood and Ballet were the best two. Don't care for Irish dancing, but she did a good job.

Miss Texas looked fabulous in that red dress... the singing was regrettable.

I hatged the swim suit competition because of the camera work. He kept zooming in on their bums :( Not necessary.

I remember when Miss Michigan did hula dancing many years ago. I actually groaned when they announced this as her talent, because I thought that was it. Kaye Lani Rae Rafko won Miss America that year, though...so it worked!

I would be super intimidated if I had to play violin in front of Joshua Bell.

She was better than the last couple singers. Miss Oklahoma was the best singer - not even close.

Miss Florida twirling batons was wayyy better than four of the singers.

The show doesn't even start until 9 PM for me! I guess I'll have to stop reading this thread for awhile...

I really thought Miss Oklahoma did a great job, but I'm biased. :) I haven't been a fan of the other singers. LOVED Miss California, her arms were just amazing. (That sounds like a really weird compliment.)

FL - Dayum - almost. So articulate, and then didn't really answer. Pullin' those heartstrings though!

Looks like they did not address the UA question, although it was sounding close! Poor Miss FL... she bombed her chance.

I would have rather answered the twerking one than Syria. Good job, California!

I'm always amazed tho that often the woman with the stupidest or most inarticulate answer ends up with the win. Hated the "stand by your man" answer.

Having not watched this all the way through since Heather Whitestone won, I can't believe they get so little time for talent.
