Congrats to her. I met Mercer's President on the flight to Convention last month. She was so fun and sweet

It's a good year for Pi Phi with my girls!

I had 3 girls withdraw from recruitment and one who did not go through - should know about TX State soon.

Reading all of these happy postings is really making waiting for my daughter's deferred recruitment hard! In the parent meeting after drop-off yesterday, another mom asked the Dean of Students/Student Life panel about recruitment, recs, etc. and said she was anxious about waiting a semester to see what would happen for her daughter.

FINALLY - my former student went Phi Mu at Oklahoma State University.

Just found out a local girl went Chi Omega at Clemson. Didn't know she was going through recruitment until after she pledged though.

yeah, i'm thinking of rushing for the fall...but i still gotta get a rush calendar from the IFC VP by next week (when recruitment officially start)...lol.

Two more results from my rec crew! South Carolina...one went ADII and one went Kappa (her legacy through her mother). :)

I have not heard any results from a young lady I did a rec for at Florida. I have a girl who preffed two houses today at Belmont University -- hoping for good news tomorrow! Finally, I have a rec girl who will be going through recruitment at Ole Miss...and that will wrap up 2012 for my crew!

I survived the Rec crew that would have been the death of me. I am happy to report my final REC gal went Gamma Phi Beta at South Carolina.

Found out 3 more that dropped out due to low party invites (all 3 on pref night), I normally advise girls keep with it but I understand that the one house left on the list for these girls was using girls from another university to help with recruitment and they weren't meeting girls from their school.
seems like a very brutal recruitment there this year.

One of my daughter's good friends went Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of North Texas.

My small rec crew this year - 1 AGD at FSU and 1 AXiD at Florida International University. Still waiting to hear on one more.

I have a rec crew :) Two of Hypo's friends will be going through recruitment at Eastern Michigan University (my alma mater). Recruitment begins the 17th and bid day is 9/29. I don't know if I'll get enough detail from them to do a story. I might from one of them, but I don't know about the other. I'm still waiting to hear whether the third young lady is going through or not.

And two of her friends are going through at Michigan too! OMG!!!

I knew I talked up how great it was to be in a sorority, but I had no idea they were listening :)

Boy howdy did the Katy girls love Pi Beta Phi this year!

My niece pledged Phi Sigma Sigma at northern Ky. yesterday. They had been her second choice through out the week but at pref she totally changed her mind and they became number one. She is so excited. She felt so comfortable with them. Last night I was looking on her facebook to see if she had posted any pictures of bid day. No pictures but I noticed so many posts from girls welcoming her to the sisterhood. I thought that was so sweet.

I was looking for the "Like" button for this. :p




I have one rec girl at Ole Miss. Looking forward to seeing where she ends up.

I went through recruitment this past week, and just accepted a bid tonight to my campus's local sorority! :)

One of the Houston Alumnae chapter member's daughters is going through recruitment at TX State - I will be doubly excited if she is pledged!

Heard from my rec girl at Missouri she went Theta..
