Wrong, wrong, wrong, LOL.

#2 is Heartbreaker. It does have a nice beat. Invincible is #3. Just had to correct that...

ANGIE STONE

Ms. Stone made a guest appearance on 106 in support of her new CD. She wants peeps to log onto her website (name of site  ) and VOTE for her 2ND single.

So actually, stations could possibly play other singles, but the 2nd single has not been released.

BTW, she's on tour with Maxwell. I hope she is replacing Res. Sorry.

I bought Toni Braxton's Christmas cd today. I haven't listened to it yet, but I'll let y'all know. In the meantime, I found this article about Destiny's Child Christmas cd..

(Nov. 6, 2001) Christmas is a very special time of the year and the world's best-selling female group, Destiny's Child, took time out of their very busy schedule to record a brand-new album of well-known holiday classics and original songs. 8 Days of Christmas will surely be a popular Christmas stuffer for the stockings hung by the chimney with care.

And once again the group's exquisitely beautiful and mega gifted lead singer Beyonce Knowles stands out having co-written and co-produced many of the twelve songs on the album. Fans will get a kick out of Beyonce's stunning arrangement of "Opera Of The Bells," a striking extrapolation of the familiar "Carol Of The Bells" performed with prima donna power and precision by Beyonce. The ethereal selection showcases her classically trained voice.

Once again, Beyonce works with two of her favorite producers. Errol McCalla, who produced "Dangerously in Love" on Survivor, and her dad, Mathew Knowles, teamed with her to produce a spiritual rendition of "8 Days Of Christmas," the album's first single which is already being touted as a future "seasonal standard."

The hit-making trio also put their uber skills together to produce dazzling vocal arrangements for "A `DC' Christmas Medley" comprised of "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town," "Jingle Bells," "Frosty The Snowman," "Have A Holly Jolly Christmas," "Deck The Halls," and "Here Comes Santa Claus."

There are surprises in store for fans who will hear all three ladies perform individually on 8 Days Of Christmas. Kelly Rowland will steal your heart with her intimate interpretation of "Do You Hear What I Hear." Michelle Williams will pull at your heart strings with her celestial rendition of the holy holiday favorite "O' Holy Night."

Beyonce also shines on "Silent Night." And just wait until you hear Beyonce's younger sister Solange beat it on "Little Drummer Boy." Solange gives you a teaser of what you can expect to hear on her debut album on Music World Music/Columbia Records to be released in spring 2002.

The group's manager and founder Mathew Knowles is the executive producer of the album filled with joy, spirit, praise and love from Destiny's Child. 8 Days Of Christmas contains the title song and "Winter Paradise," "A 'DC' Christmas Medley," "Silent Night" (featuring Beyonce Knowles), "Little Drummer Boy" (featuring Solange), "Do You Hear What I Hear" (featuring Kelly Rowland), "White Christmas," "Platinum Bells," "O' Holy Night" (featuring Michelle Williams), "Spread A Little Love On Christmas Day," "This Christmas," and "Opera Of The Bells."

After taking this CD home from work and listening to it, I must say it is much better than what I thought while listening to it at work on the computer. Silent Night, does not sound so horrible after all, and both Kelly & Michelle delivered well on their solos, (except for a part where Michelle sounds a little off key). Their Christmas Medley is also nice. However, I don't really like how they (DC3) feel the need to modernize and speed up some of the songs such as 'Little Drummer Boy', and even after listening to it at home I still feel they turned 'This Christmas' into a disaster.

Toni Braxton's Christmas CD is very nice for cuddling up at home. There are only a few of the more "traditional" Christmas songs on there, and the song written by Babyface does not sound at all like a Christmas song, but as a whole the CD is nice.

Even though I've bought these new Christmas CD's my 'Motown Christmas, New Edition and Chipmunks CD's are the ones getting major play.

Jill and Jay

I know I'm late but I just bought Who is Jill Scott? I like it. It is my mellow tape (I
don't have a CD player in my car) for now.

Jay-Z - The Blueprint - I LOVE IT.
Song Cry and Takeover (?) are they reasons
why I love this artist. He will chew the "artist" up and spit them out in one song and then confess his love the best way he can in another song.

Don't Laugh, Fill me in - Why are folks calling Michael MJJ?
