Congratulations to you and ~*~Alpha Delta Pi~*~!
It seems weird to me that you were listed as a freshman with your high school GPA, despite having some college classes. I'd think you'd be listed as a freshman, but with your transfer college GPA; it would make sense to have the cutoff be 12 or 15 to list a college GPA, seeing how 12 is the minimum for a full-time student and 15 is what a prototypical student takes per semester. Maybe that's just because recruitment at my alma mater is deferred. Was your college GPA better at the time? Did you tell actives that you had a college GPA? Do you think your grades hurt you more, or your lack of recs?

My old school encouraged freshmen to take 12-15 hours. I had some AP credit, so I took 12 each semester.
My new school encourages freshmen to take 15-17 hours, and requires 30 hours for sophomore standing. I lost some credits in the transfer, so I came in with 22 hours.
Honestly, my college gpa was only a little higher than my high school gpa. The first semester, I got a 3.75. But by the second semester, I was really starting to hate it at my school and had LOTS of personal problems, so I ended up failing a class!
I told some houses I was a transfer, but not others, and I can't remember which is which. I think my grades are really what did me in, though, because everyone had to make big cuts early on.
I just think I'm one of those rare people whose stats don't accurately reflect my contribution to a chapter. I can't blame the other chapters for seeing my grades and, with no recs to go on, deciding I wouldn't be an asset to their chapter.
